The mushroom is a non-negotiable artifact. It should be up 100% of the time w/CD redux from the armor. Things like the eternal knife make you basically immortal as long as you have anima conduit, and a mushroom.

@@Rebairdo101 yea but depending on situation, for example if u fight against enemies from end dlc starless night is going to be worse cuz they are immune to void strike (aka biggest reason this weapons is strong), but if you are playing against lots of enemies that aren't them it's going to be better bc of shared pain enchantment that is only found on starless night

Whirlwind is really good for dealing with hordes of enemies if you pair it with a lifestealing build. Mine has Sharpness (might swap this out for Committed but I'm not sure yet), Critical, and Swirling, and ofc the built-in Shockwave, and for the armor I use Wither Armor with Soul Speed, Cowardice, and Protection (maybe I should use something like Potion Barrier instead). I use a Feral Soul Crossbow with Anima Conduit, Soul Siphon, and Refreshment for the extra healing and soul gathering, then I use a Harvester and two Death Cap Mushrooms. With this, you deal a lot of AoE damage, are pretty tanky with the damage reduction from the Wither Armor as well as the constant healing from Anima Conduit and the lifesteal from the Wither Armor, and are a lot faster since you have constant Death Cap Mushrooms and the Soul Speed is almost always fully active when fighting enemies. I also have a Gong of Weakening for bosses instead of the Harvester. This build is mainly focused on AoE, but the single target damage isn't bad either. I might be biased, but I would put Whirlwind at at least B since the only way it excels is if you throw yourself into the middle of a group of enemies, and without the right setup, that is a terrible idea. Also watch out for enchanted creepers ;)

The anchor is the strongest weapon in the game. All you need is one or two swings to clear a whole room. If you can’t do that with your anchor, you don’t have the right enchantments.

My first weapon I used for awhile was heartstealer, then when the echoing voids dlc came out my main weapon became starless night, but I was playing the tower and won and got a level 263 bone cudgel that I still use today.

Moon Daggers should be higher. It’s pretty much a slightly slower Fighter’s Bindings with higher damage, also the built in souls crit boost plus the critical hit enchantment gives you a pretty high crit chance for lots of damage, and +2 soul harvest can pair with stuff like a soul speed armor and an anima conduit bow to make you go faster and regenerate hp.

Yea, daggers are just bad versions on fighters bindings so they all get a tier but when u have max souls on moon daggers there are so many crits they become better than fighters bindings, ez s tier

Radiance shockwave swirling and crit is basically my go to for any fast weapon like FB, Any sickles/daggers and sawblades

I just started with my son on Christmas, cool game :). thx so much for the tier list. One question though, we are in adventure and in order to spend enchantment points I need to salvage other items, so basically I have to salvage good tier items in order to upgrade higher item power ones. Is that normal or how to best manage those points?

So you get enchantment points every time you level and once you put them on an item the only way you can get them back is to either salvage the item, or put it in the blacksmith. So I would just recommend spending the points on items you like and then once it gets to low of power just get rid of it, or give it to the blacksmith to get the points back and a higher power level weapon.

I personally use the whirland and you putting it at C is pretty reasonable because it isn’t as fast as the other weapons and doesn’t really provide useful properties but using Void strike and Crit on this and it’s pretty good

This is one of those games where it matters more about the enchants than the weapon itself in most causes, for any melee, you always want at least one slot for leeching if the item doesn’t come with that it’s trash.

idk leeching is worse than radiance and several other enchants imo, not useful at all in most bossfights either.

Leeching is better for high dps low speed weapons, while radiance is better for low dos high speed seapons

Dancers blade does less damage than the nameless blade and the regular cutlass, and the nameless blade is actually so good. Daggers also need to swap with the double axes, encrusted anchor, and master's katana. Those weapons that are in c tier are some of the best melee weapons in the game with some of the highest dps's

Ok, as someone who actually uses the Frost Scythe, I actually really like it! Also I noticed that the Obsidian Sword is missing. That used to be my main weapon until I got the Frost Scythe. To be honest thought I got really broken enchants on the Frost Scythe so I mean the enchants do REALLY help! Plus the Frost Scythe just looks really cool!

I personally think that the whirwind ace belongs in at least a tier, its such so good with the damage, also fighters bindings belong in S tier, because u almost simply cannot die with them with the radiance enchantment and the beginning and the end with a mushroom, which is often used by many other weapons too, is a tier, just because of the 2 extra enchantments u get right off the bat and the damage it does. That is what I would have changed

Moon daggers are very strong. Usually the best set to run is leeching, void strike, unchanting, and Crit, but Crit can be swapped for guarding strike (defense), radiance (healing), or gravity (makes hitting mobs easier).

My favorite weapon for overall use is the Cursed Axe or Whirlwind. The best melee weapon for high damage is Encrusted Anchor. I see why you ranked Starless Night so high but overall I'm using the Anchor over it. Fighters Bindings are a bit overrated.

Moon daggers has built in Crit with enigma resonator which really makes them strong, and sadly the dancer's sword is actually weaker than the nameless blade and cutlass, and the nameless blade is very very strong, weakening enemies and having high dps
