In the battle kraid/crate if u get the bomb (to ur lil circle thingy) U could bomb the left corner and then it would launch u up to Kriad/Crate bellybutton and get u an instant kill

Wow, I always thought I was by myself when it came to Z-57 being the best designed overall. I understand why bird dilf is everyone's favorite but that part with his invulnerable golden form where he stands back to let you parry but there's no obvious indication so you'll inevitably lose the timing the first few dozen times is so annoying. I ended up having to look it up, but I do think it's genuinely bad game design since you HAVE to enter this parry to continue the fight, especially since most players would be carefully maintaining a far distance based on how aggro the boss is. Compare that to Z-57 when it does that wave beam that zones you specifically into a close distance then quickly does the parry motion. You likely would miss it the first time, but you would learn the boss' move and know exactly when to parry when it does the same wave beam again. THAT's how you incentivize the player to know when to parry. The hidden spineshark OHKO is also really great.

I don't agree with a lot of these placements... but if anything that's just a testament to how good the bosses in this game are overall to the point where it's hard to point to one as definitively bad or even definitively worse than the rest.

The only one that really makes me groan are the Robot Chozos, outside of them, there are no duds imo, and as you'd said it's remarkable. Nintendo needs to keep 2D Metroid going!

I don’t know why people say experiment z57 is the best when I think he is the worst due to his stupid flappy bird attack. Which completely ruins this boss fight for me.

I understand where you're coming from, that thing is tough to avoid. However the satisfaction I personally get when I come out of it unscathed us some kind of a dopamine hit. Additionally, the entire remaining arsenal, animations, cinematics, and music make me seriously struggle to comprehend that it's the worst, but everyone can have an opinion!

Escue is the worst fight in the game. It’s rng if you get hit or not and now my dread file is basically softlocked until my rng is perfect
