Great ranking, and I agree with a lot of what you said. I love how even some of the ‘lower’ rankings were still generally quite positive, which shows just how great the writing for DR is. I absolutely think Zane needs some focus, but thankfully all signs point to him receiving some major attention next season, so hopefully next season is the big fix for his character that we’ve all been waiting for

Agree so much about Zane. He was my favorite Seasons 1-3, so I really hope we get a good arc for him in Dragon's Rising at some point. On the other hand, I've loved seeing the recent portrayals of Lloyd, Nya, and especially Kai. Jay kind of remains unrated for me since we haven't seen enough of him yet. Cole has been great from what we've seen (he's my favorite overall), but he just hasn't been focused on as much as the others besides Jay.

By the way Dragon rising is going, i think they are patiently cooking a Zane arc. We already have a mystery to solve. Why the HECK was Zane in that mechanical egg? How did he get there? Did someone putted him there? Draogn rising showed that, unlike previous seasons (even the OG show) they actually care about concluding mysterys and arcs, in the right moment. I mean, THEY BETTER BE COOKING SOMETHING FOR ZANE

He is just there not being really emotional, but then also not really being good in combat. He has the potential to go all out and destroy every villain, but he doesnt do anything unless the stakes are getting really high and someone he really likes is in danger. He has like this drastic switch from being really bad in combat to becoming the absolute destroyer. I think they totally need to give him some kind of fresh and new arc to make his character interesting again.

Loved the ranking Dragons did so much for the Ninja but i hope they do more for the real original team of Cole,Zane and Jay Cole got some development but i think Jay and Zane definitively need more Jay got alot of good setup in part 2 of season 2 (even tho i wish he appeared more) do be honest i hope Jay become the nain villain for season 3 part 1 i think it would be really interesting i shake the dynamic with Jay for the new Ninja since they besides Arin only heard about him and now wouldn't trust him and have some trust issues with him i also hope that Zanes character gets fixed hes to robotic in season 1 he kinda had the story of being not who he was 5 years ago before tge merge also i think they should bring pixal back it could help maybe too have Zane grow a bit with Pixal snd have pixal be a more prominent part of the team overall Dragons Rising handled it characters amazingly well and i hope it continues thst way with the old ninja and maybe even new potential ninja like frak or maybe even nelson (i hope Skylor joins the ninja too someday but she'll probably never do that)

Personally, I would say 1- Lloyd 2- Kai 3- arin 4- sora 5- Nya 6- cole 7- wyldfire 8- Zane 9-jay Lloyd and Kai were kinda the best imo, but I liked Lloyd slightly more in dr since I feel like he is more chill Arin had a great build up for season 3, and sora in the tournament was a beast Nya was always here assisting the others, but she had good lines with sora and Kai, and especially in the tournament with jay and nokt Wyildfire is a pretty good character, but she doesn’t top the others Zane wasn’t done that badly, he was alr in s1, and in s2, he saved everyone from getting kicked out of the tournament by mentioning the race ( when cinder was diving) Finally, jay, I mean I have nothing to say much, but his build up is great And justice for riyu he exists!!!!!! Sorry for my yapping session, I am gonna put the fries in the bag now 😭🙏

@@Ninjagos4 Nya is fine. Okay, I get Jay. Cole needs to be more than just cooler. Zane got disrespected and destroyed by DR. (He is also my favorite, so this makes me even more mad) Kai deserved a buff, so it's fine. Lloyd didn't deserve a buff and he should disappear for some time, because he is getting too much attention and love since S8. Seriously, I can't look at this guy anymore, I just want to vomit every time I see him. New Characters are fine, but not every new character is fine - Arin is just whining and crying all the time, because he thinks he can get powerful just like that in a short amount of time and Sora is having some kind of weird plot armor and learns everything too quick. I love the the Earthquake Master though. Problems of DR - Everyone learns new powers/magic too quickly and that means experience (16 Seasons of fighting different enemies) of the Ninja doesn't matter anymore. Fillers and some scenes suck a lot, like they are just terribly written. Yes, this show has potential, but it's definitely not good. Those little details suck. I have seen much better writing than DR. Once you grow up, you will see how important details are in shows and also life.
