I would make Skybound higher in the ranking. In this Season I like how Jay is handled. It show us, that he is more than just the guy, who makes jokes. He finally can show us, what he can. Especially in the Episode "Nadakhans true plan" (Idk how it calls in English). Between the Pirategames he shows how he never gives up, no matter what. And I like how Nadakhan plays with the Ninja. He is one of the most skilled villains. I mean, he figured out what Jays weakpoint is, just from his actions. Very great season, that I like the most of all seasons.

⁠@@paulpranay4135 no, you miss what is Djinjago and how it was destroyed (something you will need to know for Dragons Rising.) you also miss some intern thoughts the ninja had, wich were shown while looking their future selves (Cole’s fear of being a ghost forever, jay hiding that he will be the one with nya because he doesn’t want his friendship with Cole to end, and most importantly: Zane’s fear of knowing he will outlive all of his friends.) this season also adds to jay’s character. We get to know he’s adopted and is the biological son of his favorite actor, they also develop jay and nya’s relationship, etc, etc.

Skybound was my personal favourite. Aside from the cliche "believe in yourself" part, the finale was perfection. Jays arc was completed and it tied in rather nicely

It’s main flaws are Nadakhan being a dumb villain and Jay’s character arc being wasted and unused in future seasons mainly because he wished it all away reversing him back to a jokester.

In my opinion, the best season is probably Sons of Garmadon. The reason being is like you said, the suspense build up, the story, the plot twists, characters and the darkness makes the season really unique. When I got first introduced to Ninjago, this season was airing, and looking back at myself watching Ninjago for the first time being Sons of Garmadon is an absolute treat.

me too I really loved Sons Of Garmadon, i really loved harumi in that season her introduction was awesome a sweet innocent princess before revealing herself to be the true leader of the sons of garmadon omg i was like OMG a princess i love princesses but damn she was amazing!!! i also liked how they tried to redeem her in Crystalized even though it could have been thought out better because she saved a family at the end of season 9 right before she died she and lloyd both looked at each other and harumi had this look of gulit in her eyes and even lloyd was shocked in that scene and soo upset that we went to go find her in the rumble to see if she was alright, when he said and we saw the flashback i was crying he loves her and cares for her soooo much. (please don't hate me for saying this) but i really hope she comes back in Dragons Rising possibly in later seasons like 3 or 4 what do u think? i can see her working at the orphanage taking care of the orphans there (cause she is good with kids and can relate to their situation) now that we know Garmadon is coming back and possibly Pixal too why not Harumi? Garmadon really cares about Harumi as does Lloyd I could image him saying to Lloyd that “Harumi is working at the orphanage taking care of the orphans there, she misses you, speaks of you and tells the kids tales about you and your friends and your adventures” or something on the lines of that what do u think? I think that is it gonna be a while until season 3 and 4 and imo by the time they get to it people might change their minds on Harumi and maybe more people would want her back then before people change their minds all the time the backslash from Crystalized would have probably died down by then with just questions on where the remaining characters aka Harumi are so they might bring her back for this reason to answer these questions what do u think?

My List: *only top 10 1. Possession - I love the ghost premise and having such a unique villain! They handled Morro's character arc perfectly while also providing a stealer ending. 2. Tournament of Elements - The start when the Ninja got invited to the island was just perfect! And when it was revealed that Zane was alive I was hype. Also W cliffhanger. 3. Master of the Mountain - One of the last good Ninjago seasons :C That being said I loved learning more about Cole's character and about his mom. And Skull Sorcerer criminally underrated! 4. March of the Oni - Beautiful. Except for Garmadon's Oni Form 💀 It was a real call back to OG stuff. All of that in only 4 episodes. Certified W 5. Skybound - Nadakhan just like Morro is so unique. People hat on it just because it basically never happened (only Jay + Nya remember) but I love the ending. I also liked seeing Clouse again 6. Legacy of the Green Ninja - The overlord becoming a dragon scared me as a kid. But still I gotta put it up here. The finale is still top tier even 10 years later. 7. Rebooted - Basically a better version of Prime Empire. It also saved Lego from getting sued by them Karen asce parents. Story was mid but it set up Season 4 perfectly. I love Cryptor to btw 8. Hunted - My personal favorite season out of the Oni trilogy the only reason it is below its third counterpart ( March of the Oni) is that sme episodes were amd filler. Firstborn a G though 9. Crystalized - A lot of filler but none the less I loved seeing the villain callbacks. The story went in a million different directions but still managed to pull it together in the end. 10. Day of the Departed - For context Morro is my favorite character. I loved the way they ended his character (except for him appearing in Hands of Time) and Coles rift/scar was fire.

Everybody is always ignoring the SoG plot holes. Why would the Ninja propel Lloyd onto the bounty alone with no support as if he’s gonna defeat an entire gang/army (Lloyd could probably do that) Lloyd gets captured immediately. I feel like that sequence was rushed just so they could get to the ritual and so the hype of garmadon coming back would be there. Hurumi is such as annoying character and idk why. Also people hate season five? I didn’t know because about a year ago people were calling it the best season and calling morro the best villain. What I’m saying is SoG is overrated.

For me I love most seasons but if I'm saying specifically 1. DR (Season 1: The Merge) I saw how the lore and episodes were carried out along with the episode Power Within where the The Merge started again was the most chaotic and heroic and best scene and along with a sneak peak of Sora's True Potential and Lloyd's Conduit powers 2. Skybound, it is my most favourite original Ninjago Season bcs of how it focuses Jay and also Nya who are my most favourite two characters and Jay mostly and Nadakhan best 3. Seabound/Master of the Mountain, I couldn't choose between which one bcs I love both Nya and Cole as my second and third favourite characters and the season was amazing if you watch it closely 4. Oni Trilogy, I couldn't really say any season of this was better than the other 5. Rebooted, I loved how amazingly Zane was focused and his sacrifice was amazing 6. Crystallized, I love how the season was built up and how amazing the Overlord played out and him behind everything, it does have flaws but I still like it 7. Possession, I feel like it is better than I thought and am thinking of rewatching 8. Hands of Time, I like it even though its not amazing it has some amazing lore and best of all is Ray and Maya finally being found 9. Tournament of Elements, I like it but it didn't feel normal but it's still OK with Skylor and Chens plan and Garmadons history with Clouse and Misako 10. The Island, amazing visuals, scenes and amazing lore abt Wojira but not a good story and length 11. Legacy of Green Ninja, first part I slept through finale how they built up to the Overlord and the final battle was amazing 12. Prime Empire, didn't seem like Ninjago but I like how they focused Jay but it was not the best focus of Jay 13. Rise of the Snakes, good start but not amazing compared to other seasons but Garmadon vs Devourer outstanding 14. Pilots was amazing introduction but not amazing compared to other seasons 15. Day of the Departed, too short, bad story, Yang was less focused and the other villains were more focused, Cole could've been handled better like how they handled him him S13 but Earth Punch is the best power 16. Secrets of Forbidden Spinjitzu, I don't know what to say too many problems and the season didn't seem normal

I might get hate for this, but I 100% agree with you on Season 4 being the best season of all time. I feel like most people dislike it for no reason and it get a lot of hate that's not deserved. I could go on and on about this season but I won't to save everyone's sanity. This is STILL my favorite season since I started watching back in 2018. I was 7 and had just got to Tennessee for Summer Break when we arrived at the cabin we rented I saw something that intrigued me, Ninjago. I had hear of it but never watched it before. I know season 4 wasn't the season I should have watched first, but it felt right to me. It wasn't for a year later that I would become a fan of the show and I only remembered Zane, Chen, and Skylor so the first season Zane, being the only one I knew was my favorite. Season 4 has a special place in my heart and always will. Btw love your channel! Hope you have a great day!

My opinion changes all the time but that's my ranking for now, i think a lot will disagree: 18. Rise of The Snakes: Probably the only season I hate. its pretty solid watching it for the first time but a rewatch? Not so much, it just feels very boring and weird especially those fighting scenes. 17. Secrets of Forbidden Spinjitzu: The fire chapter mostly sucks while the ice chapter is good but not great, its really flawed but i dont mind it that much. Good fighting scenes tho. 16. Day of The Departed: Although i dont care about it that much, i think its kinda overhated like its pretty good, i think? 15. The Island: Same for DotD i like it but i dont care that much, i dont the understand the hate tho, i think it did what needed to be done and definitely shouldn't be longer bc that would be too boring. 14. Legacy of The Green Ninja: Like season 1, rewatching it kills half the fun, and fillers are meh but the rest is pretty solid. 13. Hands of time: Also a very overhated season, i understand where all the hate is coming from but i think its a good season. 12. Possession: Yeah so i think its overrated, dont get me wrong i love Possession its just not the best out there, kinda underwhelming to say the least. 11. Hunted: Same with Possession, just a lil better. 10. Master of The Mountain: I REALLY love this season, it could've been higher if the geckles and munce weren't so annoying, it ruined the season for me. 9. March of The Oni: This season is so underrated its so good especially the relationship between Lloyd and Garmadon, literally carries the whole season. 8. Rebooted: Another very underrated season, the love triangle sucks but it doesn't bother me that much, the rest is just so good and all the tecno vibes. 7. Tournament of Elements: There's literally nothing wrong with this season i just like a few season more than it. 6. Seabound: Love this season A LOT. 5. Skybound: I understand where people are coming from, but its such a good season imo i have very little to no problems with is. 4. Crystallized: I know i know, Crystallized has a lot of flaws and its nowhere near perfect, but most those flaws that ppl talk about dont bother me, and the ones that do bother me aren't a lot, i think its a very enjoyable season i like it very much although i know its kinda not good. 3. Prime Empire: Im not sure if this is the most underrated season or Crystallized but i think maybe its Prime Empire, i love everything about this season the visuals alone are so awesome, its just a very enjoyable season imo. 2. Dragons Rising S1: This season is just so good on so many levels its just not my No.1 Fav for a few reasons. When i watched the first few episodes i thought it might be my new fav bc of the vibes alone, they really reminded me of SoG, but those didn't last long. The villains are sometimes really annoying (or always, like Rapton and Dorama) Sometimes it becomes slow-paced like in the last couple of episodes i felt like a lot of time was wasted there. I really wasn't sure where to rank DR bc the story is still very not finished, i think second best is a good placement for now. 1. Sons of Garmadon: I dont think anything will ever top SoG, ITS SO GOOD I CANT SAY HOW MUCH I LOVE THIS SEASON. ( i didnt rate the pilot bc i only watched them like once after Crystallized ended in very low quality. I dont think i ever watched them as a kid bc i remember being confused at the episode "wrong time wrong place" I recently found them dubbed in my language but i dont think they ever aired on TV, or maybe they aired once and never again.)

me too I really loved Sons Of Garmadon, i really loved harumi in that season her introduction was awesome a sweet innocent princess before revealing herself to be the true leader of the sons of garmadon omg i was like OMG a princess i love princesses but damn she was amazing!!! i also liked how they tried to redeem her in Crystalized even though it could have been thought out better because she saved a family at the end of season 9 right before she died she and lloyd both looked at each other and harumi had this look of gulit in her eyes and even lloyd was shocked in that scene and soo upset that we went to go find her in the rumble to see if she was alright, when he said and we saw the flashback i was crying he loves her and cares for her soooo much. (please don't hate me for saying this) but i really hope she comes back in Dragons Rising possibly in later seasons like 3 or 4 what do u think? i can see her working at the orphanage taking care of the orphans there (cause she is good with kids and can relate to their situation) now that we know Garmadon is coming back and possibly Pixal too why not Harumi? Garmadon really cares about Harumi as does Lloyd I could image him saying to Lloyd that “Harumi is working at the orphanage taking care of the orphans there, she misses you, speaks of you and tells the kids tales about you and your friends and your adventures” or something on the lines of that what do u think? I think that is it gonna be a while until season 3 and 4 and imo by the time they get to it people might change their minds on Harumi and maybe more people would want her back then before people change their minds all the time the backslash from Crystalized would have probably died down by then with just questions on where the remaining characters aka Harumi are so they might bring her back for this reason to answer these questions what do u think?

The problem with Hands of time & Day ofthe departed is because they were in production. The same time of the LEGO Ninjago movie The crew focused more hands on writing the movie then the show Day of the departed was supposed to be a second full season released in 2016 But because of the movie's production only 2 episode scripts wear written so they blended it into a 44min Special Another reason why the movie should not exist.

Every moment that went by before Crystalised came up filled me with more and more dread, I acknowledge that it might not objectively be the worst season of the show, the animation is pretty good, but the sheer disrespect that the writers had for the show as a whole is just too abhorrent for me to get past. You mentioned that they bring back old nostalgic things, and that's true, but then they go ahead and tarnish every single one of them. Between Pythor just showing up as a joke, rather than having been plotting like was implied, their most iconic villain is forced into the plot when he really didn't have to be, he was clearly the logical choice to be the vengestone buyer, but in the writers attempts to subvert expectations, instead they decided to dredge up Ninjago's best villain with a perfectly concluded story and completely ruin her. The redemption of Harumi is dumb, we all know it's dumb, but I think most people miss the fact that it comes about because the Overlord decides to monologue about a totally random piece of lore, the Overlord doesn't have many personality traits, but one of the most memorable ones he does have is that he doesn't monologue. Remember this exchange? Garmadon: "warming up? You didn't tell me it had to warm up!" Overlord: "How could I? You were monologing." Not only one of the funniest moments in the entire show, but it gave the Overlord an almost sassy personality and it was really clever because the Overlord is an anciant evil, he's done all of this before, he's probably lost because of monologing before, so it makes sense he'd know to avoid it, and this stayed pretty consistent, remember "then all I have to say is... goodbye", savage, cool, consistant. But the Crystalised writers had to take away the only consistant personality trait the Overlord had just so that they could wreck Harumi's character. It's not even that I hate the twist, it kind of makes sense, it just doesn't make any sense for the Overlord to bring it up and it reaks of entitlement from a group of writers who think they're better than all the ones who came before despite being exponentually worse.

when you think about it though march of the oni is better a season as if all 4 episodes were condensed into 1 movie it would be as long as the dark knight rises nearly 3 hours long and I don't think kids are gonna sit through a 3 hour movie even if it is ninjago however I do think they should have done that im just saying in terms of marketing it was a smart choice but I DO wish they made it into a movie for the older fans
