@@paddyg Respectfully, Cowboys had players out for the Roosters and Penrith games too, Roosters also had Keary, Walker, Manu, Young, Tupou, Hargreaves, Cheese, May, Butcher, Radley and Panthers had Yeo, Tago, Turuva, Leota, Kenny, JFH, Sorensen and Lindsay Smith 🤡 and Melbourne still had Munster, Paps, Sua, Wishart, MacDonald and Anderson, but even with the players they had out it’s still Melbourne and doesn’t matter what players they field Craig always has them turn up 🤷🏽‍♂️

Penrith storm gf and I think panthers are going to win (for the last time) it but won’t be shocked AT ALL if storm win it, also wouldn’t be shocked if roosters won it even with their injuries. Manly will have a fair shot and I really think that they are the only teams that can win it (manly lose turbo then there done). Sharks might have a shot but like you said they can’t win a finals game and in don’t think any other teams have a shot.

Sharks at 6 is actually criminal and shows how much sharks footy you’ve watched this year. Sharks actually have the best record against the top 8 this season - add to that they’ve beaten 2 of the other 3 in the top 4. Beaten Melbourne in Melbourne without our starting halves. Horrible take.

If you look at some of the storms close wins and losses you'll see their record is fools gold and they're a bit of pretenders like the eels were in 2017 and the cowboys in 2022.

Ngl tired of this storm hate bruh, storm are not cowboys or eels. Storm have proved more then enough they are premiership contenders, it’s like you guys never believe that they are contenders till they win the comp. Storm have had close winds because they never have there full side together (start of the season) they versed reasonably tuff sides and when they lose it’s really close and it’s either by injuries/bad calls, the only real lost is against the dragons which was dissapirnin. Melbourne have beaten panthers twice, roosters twice which is all I need to really know. I do kind of understand what you’re trying to say but they are real contenders…

@valxe00 penrith beat sharks 42-0 without cleary, sharks beat Melbourne in Melbourne without Hynes, that's another bad loss it's not only the dragons game. As for their win over penrith in round 24 it was against penrith without their starting second rowers and Nathan for the final 15 and storm only won by 2 with 18 of their 24pts being suspect. Shit even if you go back to round 1, Kenny and Sorenson were out and it was 2 nil and a panthers try got pulled back that probably should've been a try and storm scored the very next set a 12 point turn around so I'm not reading too much into the 2 wins over the panthers.

Rd. 1 2022 lost to the dogs who sucked bad loss, round 4 smoked by the roosters at home who were going bloody ordinary all season, round 5 lost to the warriors who finished 2nd last, round 12 beaten 22-0 by the panthers, round 18 beaten by the sharks at home 13+ by another pretender side, I'll get to that, round 19 beat tigers by a point at home with controversy, tigers were last, beaten again by the roosters 13+ in round 22, beaten by the rabbitohs in Rd 24, another underwhelming team finishing it the bottom half of the top 8. The 2022 top 4 outside of penrith was the softest top four I can remember and I've been watching since '99 made up of 3 pretenders in the eels, sharks and cowboys. I told anyone who would listen in the off-season and presason heading into the 2023 that cowboys record in 2022 was fools gold, that they were pretenders and no way would make the 4 (where everyone was tipping them to finish again) and I said they'd possibly miss the 8 too which they did.

I forgot to mention sharks v cowboys in the qualifying final meant one of these 2 pretenders would shoot into a prelim so there's no credit for finishing in the final four in that situation in my eyes, bringing up the forward pass against the eels is comical too considering the fashion you beat the tigers in that season and had you advanced to the grand final it would've been penrith just playing another pretender like they did the eels and we saw how that game went.
