Hi Patty! I couldn't agree with you more regarding the Hela Palette. The bottom row is phenomenal and River is my favorite shade!! I use a black eyeshadow stick pencil base first before applying River and it is such a beautiful look. I think it's also great for anyone looking to add greens to their collection. This was my first Oden's Eye purchase, and it was so worth waiting for the international shipping! ✨💕😍✨P.S. Thank you for ranking all the palettes you've tried so far this year. Arghhhhhhh, I absolutely loved this - although, it's frightening to realise we are halfway through the year ... Already 😱 I have to say, my favourite palette this year (not released this year, but I bought it this year) is The Vanity Makeup Signature palette. OMG Patty, the mattes and the shimmers are just incredible/amazing/fantabulous. Yes, it's a "boring" colour story but, it definitely is not boring. My favourite palettes (not all new this year, but new to me) so far are - 5) Sigma *New Mod* - a perfect mauvey neutral palette. Incredible metallics and shimmers. It’s quickly become a go-to. 4) BH *Blueberry Muffin* - A blue, smokey cool toned dream. Such a fun, unique colour story with outstanding formula. 3) Martine Cosmetics *669* - grungy, moody, deep and smokey heaven. 2) PML - *2nd Bridgerton* palette (no explanation needed 🤣) 1) Shroud x Battybean *It’s Freakin’ Bats* I didn’t think it was possible to be so endlessly inspired by a 9 pan. It’s so versatile! I’m obsessed with it and I love everything about it. I hope you are having a beautiful weekend filled with laughter, dear Patty. Love you, girl. 💕

Thanks for this video! I loveee palette rankings! If you want a fun pastel color story that gives a lot more pigment impact than ND and has a really easy to blend formula, Glam Lite Ice Cream Dream is so amazing! And I think they’re having a sale right now! 😍

I have both Hindash’s two palettes, but won’t be purchasing a third. I don’t use them enough to justify the price. I don’t have an issue with the formula, but, I agree, that they are pretty basic . . . And I have to use another palette or single shadow for the shimmer on the lid. I do LOVE the Dominique Cosmetics’ Moment Palette.

There certainly has been many releases this year and I was meant to be slowing down! I've only used one shade of the Bridgerton II and yet to use Dior's Backstage Eye Palette in Coral Neutrals. I just had the ND Love Palette come days ago, a few Viseart Palettes, Dior Quints, many Lethal's, and a Saints.Angels.Sinners Multichrome Palette of nine shades! There's plenty more to come, especially Oden's Eye!💖

Just because it's a "popular" palette or a beautiful color story, doesn't mean it works great or gets all of us excited, it's all preferences and what we like to wear. Patty, please can you turn spot light to lipsticks? ie do a video on the top 7 eyeshadow palettes of each brand but instead of reshowing eye looks, show what lipsticks, lip pencils (and where applicable glosses) work best with the eye palettes? Sometimes I struggle to find the best lip colours for my mcgrath, tilbury and denona eyeshadow palettes, if you could give examples of a few lip colours that go with each major eyeshadow palette that would be so helpful and no one else is doing that yet!!! Plus can we please see some new looks using only mcgrath mothership rose i, II and huetopia as I think some amazing looks could come out of using all 3 palettes together. Much love xx

@@PattyAlonso My fav's are nudes too, but you could perhaps throw in some ideas re medium tone lipsticks to cater for all needs? I imagine the more colourful palettes will work best with nude lipsticks anyway. I'm in the UK and I don't have anywhere local to go for make up brands such as denona, mcgrath and tilbury so can never try out the lipsticks and have made enough mistakes buying some online that look nothing like the colour they're supposed to be! Whenever you have a full face of make up, your lip colours always look amazing with your eye colours so that's why I've put this suggestion to you and no other MUA....you're the best and I love your videos so much!

I use PLouise Rumour 0 on my Nomad pastels and they pop. They have a new release coming out in a few weeks, I’m excited! I’m already playing with Haunted Europe for Summerween. The Bridgerton palettes have 50% less product than Pat McGraths other 6 pans. I was able to dupe it with Lethal Cosmetics singles listed on Temptalia.

It was awesome to see how you ranked these. Do you have any tips for getting Odens Eye Shimmers from falling down your face? I have tried primed lids, using my finger and a wet brush to apply them. They always end up falling throughout the day. Most of my other eyeshadows don’t do this. Is a glitter glue needed? Thank you for any tips you can give! Wow! I think you just sold me on Heather’s palette! Lol.

Adept cosmetics es una marca que me gustaría probar, aunque si dices que suelen hacer crease pronto... Yo tengo súper los párpados muy grasos, pero el color parece increíble!! De las dos paletas de los Bridgeton la segunda también es mi favorita, es que ese shimmer rosado ya merece la pena, a mi me parece un astral aunque ella no lo catalogue así

ALSO- what primer do you recommend with the Adept shimmers? I’ve never had creasing issues with other shadows but do with this palette. I usually don’t use primer- just concealer and then glitter glue for sparkly shades, but even my glitter glue didn’t keep them from creasing

That nomad pastel palette is so disappointing. Especially for the price. I’d rather have the shimmery shades only. Their mattes are terrible. I got so many compliments when I used it, but like you, it just took so much finessing to get the look.

The Huda palettes are way too out there for me, I never use such bright bold colours. Out of the Viseart quads the green one is my favourite, I also like the new ABH Nouveau palette which I want to get

I guess that Urban Decay pallette is the best they've released lately, but it was super disappointing. The shades were almost all too light and I only have a medium skin tone. Anyone darker than me wouldn't be able to use it. And I feel like the matte formula is really chalky and blends to nothing. The shimmers are ok. But if I didn't get it basically free with Ulta points I would be upset...that Odens Eye palette is my new obsession. It is so good.

Oh no, the Viseart near the bottom 🥲I just received it today and have not worn it yet. I love love love purple. I am guilty of buying an entire palette that has purple in it, got home with the palette and wondered now what in the world am I going to do with the other 11 shades. That said , I totally understand ( and respect ) why you ranked it where you did. Love your ranking videos because you explain why you liked , or did not like , a palette which helps me make a decision about buying a particular palette. Thanks for your hard work
