rush hour (for me-) was absolutely immaculate. they really were PREPARED. They had the vocals, the rap, the dance, the stage presence, and the facial expressions. not only that, but it felt like a very american pop music spin on the song that was almost refreshing i’d say? considering all of these factors, jay and kamden really did put on an amazing performance and DID NOT DISAPPOINT!!!!

the g group performance of kick it was my fav, the chemistry in the team was superior. Brian left us shocked by his facial expressions and stage presence AND HIS VOCALSSS, Ollie was hyped up and left us speechless with his rap like our Ricky, who also danced like the wonderful trainee he is, he didn't lie when he said he was young and rich, tall and handsome

rush hour was def my favourite performance, i think k groups kick it was good but i dont think they all deserved all star, esp if theyre not giving smone like kamden or hanbin all star, i think at most two of them shouldve gotten it but all? it wasnt outstanding enough tbh 😗

On a technical level, kick it K group was better. However kick it G group was my all time favorite performance of the episode because the boys were so talented, charismatic, and memorable. Ollie was a great person to give the first line and slayed the ending.

For me I thought that K group’s dance was amazing but the vocals were kinda bad except for the high note and gyuvin’s part, while G group did a pretty decent job in general, the vocals weren’t perfect either but I LOVED the rap, the dance was good too.

fr the boys from Tokyo actually pulled off grt facial expressions and their dance was sooo good as well, if it wasn't for Itsuki I shouldn't have got interested, but ig this is what we get TT. tbh I'd liked itsuki's vocals (cant rlly say tht tho it wasn't stable) esp Ouju who lacked a lot. still i'm looking forward for it, who knows who will improve :D

A little fact about Yuehua's G Group is that for 3 months they practiced NCT Dream's Beatbox up until a WEEK before evaluations because Mnet changed their performance to Kick It instead. Another snake move by Mnet. Ollie exposed this on a live.

You are so based man, G group Kick It is the one I always go back to. I get that K group had the cool dance elements that reminded them of one of the judges but they gave two of them half a line to sing each and didn’t ask them to show more in vocals at all to get the 4 stars. Why did they do that to them only to stress the kids out during signal song training and make them drop from 4 stars and feel bad, just because they wanted K group to win first? I shouldn’t expect mnet to be fair or rational I guess. It was also such a plus for me that there was an actual rap section in G group because that’s what I’m expecting in 127 songs as a NCT fan lmao everyone have pretty solid amount of lines that showcased them each pretty well too! They were so well balanced !!

Beautiful. personally, find choreo tougher. also, def has the idol presence / vibe cuz duh- 4/3. All I Wanna Do *Presentable near-debut / may tweak a bit tho w/ a few lines or parts' vocal tone delivery, etc; good tho* 5. Tiger Inside (it's a bit hiyahhh energy for some line delivery for me, but they're very stable despite the choreo) 6. GBTB 7. Kick It ~ G Yuehua. I watch this the 1st/2nd most tho. Just the rap needs a bit of tone adjustment for Ollie, tho this inflections & flow are ok + maybe Ricky can say the shhh better, tho I think Ricky prefers singing>rapping, tho he's not that off-beat. 8. Glitch Mode 9. View ~also in fine level ______________________________________________________________________ *Fine-ish. needs more to stand out a bit more /// or a bit more training time w/ the song* 9. View (nearly there tho) 10. Criminal ~ Wooseok. for the trainee levels here, esp for Taemin songs, I'm surprised his voice didn't give out as much for the 1 min 12/11. Call Me Baby. Kokobop. My issue is Winne kinda is the most stable for 14th/15th spot people but their vocal skills clashed imo. dance is fine + presence is 50/50 tho their energy is fine. Winne just stood out for stability to me for 13-15th place. 14/15. Crown. I actually like crown the best of these 3, but the vocals don't seem that trained, tho if not trained, this is decent + kinda stable. stage presence & energy suit the song. I enjoy watching the 2 the best. ______________________________________________________________________ *def more time training w/ the song & some skills* 16. Criminal ~ Donggun. ~I'm on the fence w/ this cuz he tried to project but skipped way too many lines + was on vocal struggle. His visuals do help w/ presence, esp for the song concept. dance is ok tho he was def struggling vocally + just flowed into the high note tho ended up shouting it; he is doing this solo tho, so tbh would he be much better just in a group tbh cuz I think he kinda knows what the key is but just isn't trained enough to sing solo like this. Also, his voice kinda gave out tho he didn't get the worst voice cracks I've seen in ep 1 17. Shine ~ Osaka? ~need more time training def. tried to project vocally, esp osuke, tho they lack in vocal training. they had presence tho + kinda suited the concept, but it was def on vocal struggle for them all; voice cracks or voice just getting hoarse often on simpler parts in the chorus. dance is ok + they were entertaining performers tho cuz presence wasn't that bad tbh + they were quite audible/projected-ish tho couldn't sing high enough. ________________________________________________________________________ *nah- def need more training-* 18/19. My House ~ Mingyu. ~he's not exactly off-key tho like drunk karaoke amateur singing. was likely meant to be a "fun stage" planned by mnet tho. vocals are struggling for the song requirements, esp w/ the choreo level. he also can't sing high enough. Has some natural charisma/presence w/ proportions / vibes tho. 18/19. My House ~ Bak Doha. ~I prefer this to Mingyu's tho he's more off-key, tho he did get to do the post-chorus choreo. his voice is more naturally projected than mingyu's tho. I'm unsure between the 2 cuz I think Mingyu is more on-key. This is also a "fun stage" tho 20. God's Menu ~did not need to be that shout-y, esp on jisung's verse. the prechorus vocals faltered a bit. the loudness was kinda jumpscare-ish. Also, not projected enough; mostly just shouted. It's just a bit too much. Think they should've trained differently w/ the energy output. dance is ok tho. idk if I should put this before the my house's tho this was seen as a more "serious effort" than my house- The guy w/ brown hair was the most tolerable tho cuz he was a bit more on pitch + I was more ok w/ the vocals @ the last post-chorus 21. Hot ~seems underprepared. They're not synced well. Vocals seem sloppy & uncertain + vocal struggle to project the singing-ish parts. Also, dk why they chose to sing the chorus breathy. Also, a bit out of breath. idk if they're like vocal positions at all??

Thinking about how the production team has a say on their song choice...such a turn off. It's kinda waste of time also for you to rank. Contestants could've picked a safe song where the dance isn't that hardcore but they can still sing properly (stable). But produce said no, "pick more recent songs/pick songs from popular groups". *If you're not that good why would you pick EXO, SEVENTEEN & Golden Child's songs* . Their choreo are intense.

Rush hour team remains me to Dumdi Dumdi team in Girls Planet, just one trainee get screen time. At the time mashiro and hiyajo showing the great performance. But mashiro got the spotlight bcz she's from JYP ex Trainee almost debut with itzy, and hiyajo, no one talk about her, it's sad, if she got more spotlight, she coukd one of best main dancer in gp99. And the history repeated at bp, jay is great. But, Kamden is great rapers. Fortunatelly kamden save from last elimination. I really love all of them, jay, kamden and mashiro, hiyajo. I just didn't like how mnet overshadowing one person for make another trainee get more spotlight. Ps. English not my first language
