2:05 Tbh, I think the game should add something to phinishers where you are incapable of taking any damage while preforming it similar to Genshin Impact. This’ll allow it to function as a last card and prevent snipers from killing you and dying to whatever means. This has always been a huge problem that was very annoying because the phinishers are supposend to finish right? WHY DA FREAK ARE WE STILL ABLE TO DIE DOING IT? nice video. two things tho, yes you are underating ban ult. and secondly you are massively underating boombox ult. you dont use it to save someone you use it to shift the momentum of a fight by doing it mid fight to deny the last couple of enemies of killing your team to clutch out conquer. or just to engage in a fight. the extra shields allows characters to have more point presence and really deny the entire enemy team. I have so many games where the boombox presses f on overtime and we lose.

Yeah I definitely agree I placed Ban ult way too low, I was just really annoyed with working on this video I didn't wanna change my placements anymore. In terms of Boom ult I feel it could definitely go up quite a few spots after thinking about what you said. His placement is probably my bias coming into play as I've primarily played in Open servers (trying to play more Scrims) and I also just don't have much experience on Boombox compared to most other Phighters.

I feel like that Boombox's ult is kind of useless. Yes it can be used to change the momentum of a fight, and engage in a fight. But since the shield decays very fast, it can only keep your teammates alive for a short period amount of time. On top of that Phighters that do wide range of damage like Sword could completely erase the permanent 50 shield, thus leaving them alive for a very short period of time. I don't really main Boombox a lot but I just think that Raining Tacos could not make a big impact and since Boombox has been nerfed a lot, other phinishers could overshadow it. It can save people hit by phinishers that stun them. The good stuff is that the shield could make Phighters like Biograft, Ban Hammer, and Sword more of a threat and Supports more alive, making your team alive. Overall, in my opinion, it's a good phinisher. Also hi CRABLOOSHI!! :D

Great video (I was thinking of making this but I agree a lot with most of your points, shame that Rocket PHINISHER got buffed a few hours after this video LOL) To be honest you landed pretty much all the reasons why the PHINISHERs are good or flawed, I got nothin much to add for them however I do have a few disagreements I would like to bring up because this is a fun video. Honestly I wouldn't think Boombox's PHINISHER should be 13th as I would move it up a couple spots. While the windup is long, Boombox has many ways with map layouts and his E shield to make sure he can get out his ult better. I kind of see it as a weird side-grade to Medkit's PHINISHER with how much shield it gives and how much defensive and offensive power this can give to a team with proper position (just like Medkit.) And combining that this ult has great synergies with mainly Biograft, Banhammer (to an extent) and Sword, I would argue it's around 8th personally. I feel like you overrate Sling and Bio PHINISHERS too much. Maybe it's the competitive player in scrims genetics coming out, but Sling ult is fine but not really all that good. It's dependent on the map layout sometimes and it's rather easy to know when the Sling will go for ult shots so you could spread out with your team a tiny bit and react accordingly, which could also lead to the Sling holding onto ult shots for longer than he should which is always great to have. Bio PHINISHER main issue is mainly a player difference, as some characters can literally decimate you in ult (Sword, Skate, and Tana) if you play too reckless, and Bio ult might make someone play more reckless which can lead to you sometimes getting very minimal value which can be an absolutely devastating feeling, but again I feel like the inconsistencies of the value it can give make it more around 7th or 6th as opposed to 3rd. Also yes, you may be bias on that Hyperlaser spot but to be fair, it is reasonable to put it at #1 (Personally I consider Medkit's PHINISHER to be outright the better one for many reasons but yeah Hyper has a very stupid one, just a very hard one to use consistently.)

Boom's Phinisher I will 100% agree I mad underrated when making this video (Along with Judgement). I have been trying to play more Scrims so I can get a better understanding of things from a competitive pov, so my Open server bias kicked in hard. I can definitely see me overrating Leg Day and Overdrive (I already think Leg Day should be around like 9th now :sob:) Overdrives placement was highly influenced by the fact I was going on a Biograft power trip in opens around the time I was making the final ranking. (Aidn hates me and is punishing me by reworking Rocket's Phinisher twice not even 24 hours since I released this video)

Something else worth noting about coil’s Phinisher is that right when it starts, if you hit another player, you pick them up and jump forward which does a some damage, I feel like this helps me a lot so you can get a single player alone and just do a whole lotta damage to them

Rocket's phinisher got reworked,now you can turn a specific area into a minefield,and it stays for quite a long time,which means you can now lock the enemy team from going on point for a while more efficiently.

7:23 i think one thing vinestaff is underrated for is dps. Vinestaff can output RIDICULOUS amounts if used well. It’s low cd stun is ridiculously effective as a get off me tool, and if you manage to spam a stream of m1s and m2 on the enemy, the explosion damage + m1 damage is ABSURD, and makes vinestaff one of the BEST units to fight banhammer - so long as you actually stay out of range and don’t charge in like an idiot. The main thing that holds vinestaff back is that scythe, bio and skate ANNIHILATE it, especially skate. It also struggles a LOT with boombox - although the rework actually made it sort of weaker to vinestaff, but not by much. Rocket used to be not too bad, since it’s self damage was so dangerous for it you could just stay close the whole time and they couldn’t do much, especially if you use your root right as they’re about to use their q. But the rocket buffs/nerfs made its self damage pretty laughable, AND gave it a faster firing rate, which is INSANE since its direct shot rockets deal a LOT. I still feel bad for rocket that its range got reduced though, i don’t think that nerf was really deserved since rocket does still get countered by a lot of phighters.

WAIT SUBSPACE IS THAT LOW? Well, it’s damage isn’t that great, and its radius is balanced, but its capability of trapping and immobilizing an entire team (very unlikely but still) seems way too insane to put it anywhere besides the top 5. That’s just my preference though.

while not very good in annihilate(unless you have like a ban or bio) bb’s ult is a game changer in conquer imo. quite literally it can force/deny overtime if timed right(which I have done a few times) and it’s kinda underestimated for that, bb himself is pretty good in conquer, especially in maps with smaller points aka iron cafe, Roblox mall, sfoth etc… it can also kill low health opponents(tho that chance is low but usually I ult when a tank is fighting another tank so usually I don’t get kills with it often) but it’s still very useful(if not one of the best imo) ults for conquer matches

one thing to note about katanas ult is that you can use cover to cover yourself from enemy damage but still hit them and apply stacks of dread and damage

personally I think what makes a good phinisher is how effectively it can flip the table in games katana for example, although yes it is easy to get out of range and damage the katana while he's using it, you can't deny how good it is at making enemies abandon the point in conquer beside in reality in a game, enemies are fighting your teamates too, so your teamate also work as a distraction so the enemies can't run out of your effective range (cause they aren't aware) or allowing your teamate to do extra damage while the enemies are busy fleeing Judgement is completely different though, it's short range and killing condition makes it a move you have to consider carefully before using and not one you can simply use and help the team in tough situations, not only it is hard to use but it also makes ban extremely vulnerable depsite being fairly quick. The time it takes for him to slam the hammer onto the ground, lift it up and swing it is already enough for him to take a lot of damage, especially when you consider that he's a frontliner which means he'll have to face multiple enemies. If you use the move at the wrong time it'll be extremely punishing

6:15 something i think you missed about vine staff is that her ultimate is very teammate dependent while also being average on annihilate, not just flat out bad. but again, this is assuming your teammate knows how to play with a vine staff. her ultimate benefits a lot from your teammates being around you when you first pop it and if they aren't, 5 sprouts (or 50 regen and 25% haste) completely goes to waste - not even including it's future levels. it's a pro and con; it makes vine staff much more dependent on their teammates (a con) while being able to reset her teammates' health (in both annihilate (when entire team is retreating of course) and conquer; a pro)

Might be bias, but slingshots PHINISHER is actually one of the best in my opinion. On maps such as domino valley and Roblox HQ/ maps with long straight paths which not much other mobility, it’s insanely broken. The amount of times I’ve gotten kill streaks in Roblox HQs downstairs hallway is insane. Also, Slingshot can get around the long start up time via the fact he can get to high places very quickly, and the double speed allows you to basically murder any ban hammer that walks a little to close to you. Sure the damage is just okay but due to Slingshots decently high damage output (By the time I right this you can hit around 40 damage from his bounce shot ability if your good enough, and M2 doing 30 damage) It’s basically just saying goodbye to all the enemy’s sheild and like half there health. Also wall hacks and full map range make it just that much better. So yeah, I think Leg Day is amazing

the main issue with this argument is that ranking somethings viability based on skill is extremely volatile. hyper feels quite weak at a low level of play but once youre consistently hitting shots he feels unfair to fight because his ult just oneshots 3 times and even outside of that he, the longest ranged phighter in the game, wins a dps race against nearly every other phighter in the game who can attack him it feels incredibly uninteractive for your life to be completely out of your own control and entirely dependent on if someone ELSE can land shots, which is why hyper can be so frustrating to fight. from experience, you can get to a point of high consistency with hyperlaser, and the flaws in his design do begin to show at that point

as a certified support main, i believe boombox's ult should be dead last the absolutely pitiful range, the long windup, and the fact that the ult gets heavily nerfed if you dare to play any healer next to him (which sucks cause he performs way better with one) is a major part of why i think boombox is the worst character right now... the best use for bb's ult right now is as an engagement tool. having everyone gather and going in as soon as they get the shields. it is not good at saving teammates and helping them live, that would be medkit's ult, as it gives a major chunk of health, grants immortality, and revives dead teammates all within three seconds... enjoyed the video, though.. was a fun watch.. keep it up, king :3

honestly i dissagree with the wholw list but for a different reason, i belive that all phinishers are equal in power and considering im a rocket main i can say that rockets phinisher is a pretty high skill thing to land but if its pulled of properly i have made a katana quake in there boots and especially in conquer me and several other people have done this because of the high skill cap but low skill floow for it and for most of them same reason or it depends on your playstyle. cool list though!

i dont think you should call 100% defense Iframes because any move that does 50 or more damage will ignore it and even if it does under 50 for example medkit bullet it will still heal on headshot meaning the shot counts but no damage is done

@crystalshards672 dude I looked at the nerfs, the only nerfs that hold weigh are LOS checks and slightly less survivability, his damage and combo potential have gone through the roof though and now he has counterplay, so its overall a good patch

Damage output just isn't that good compared to most others and his support is pretty lackluster. His biggest strength in my opinion is the fact he's got crazy mobility and stupidly high damage while in Fusion Mode.
