@@nizzle428 I thought that Paul was a shining star in BB18. I get that he wasn’t everyone’s cup of tea though. But I do agree that he wasn’t as big a star as Johnny Mac or Zach. I also disliked the casting choices of Corey or Zakiyah. And I hated James being a returnee. But I just thought the overall cast was really good.

If I can add, a HUGE problem with season 22 is that the players didn't want to be there. Many of them came there for a paycheck. And for an All Stars season we've waited over a decade for, that is just not okay. We want to see people fight for their lives because they love the game; and, the people that were there for those reasons (Kaysar, Janelle, ...), they were picked off early. Ian and Tyler trying to quit, the jury segments revealed just how 'over it' the jurors were. Plus, our favorites took FALLS in their reputations (Nicole A., Dani, Tyler) for one reason or another. Anyway, great video. This made my day a lot better.

Ian and Tyler were perfect examples of this. Tyler was almost ready to throw in the towel in week 5. Ian literally quit watching BB during BB19. Combined with the ableism, it's not wonder he had a bad time.

Yeah, the more recentl ones though I think would be in the bottom half. People learned what strategies work before going in, whereas the first half really brought the entertainment and would go off more emotion rather than logic.

My bottom 5 is similar... The absolute worst thing any season can have is straight up bullying. Fights are only good when both parties are at fault and able to stick up for themselves, or when the douche gets what's coming to them. You are right about big brother 18. I recently just watched it recently and the pre jury was captivating. The house theme was awesome and I really liked the cast. However around the final 7 it started to get really slow and I just found myself not caring what happened at all.

BB19 was actually the first season I watched after I saw the Josh vs. Paul debate break out online, and while I think it's still near the bottom, it's easier to appreciate when you know going in how it ends. It's fascinating to watch how Paul plays a masterful game, but in a way that loses everyone's respect and leads to a hotheaded emotional wreck stealing the win from under him.

I very much enjoyed ranking the seasons so thanks for the poll and video that enticed me too. I fully understand the concept of how you watch them influencing opinions. I have a much deeper understanding of the seasons i was fully invested in (10-16) than the ones i binged then (pre-10) or the ones ive just tuned into when i can (post 16). I agree with most of your bottom 5 but I have to say 13 is much higher on my list than yours partly as it was the season i was the most invested in. I remember the night of the double and jeff going and i literally couldnt sleep after. It also meant i was so upset by the obviously production manipulation against my faves. So i must admit, looking objectively it would be lower but it has a place in my heart because i was so invested in it. Spoilers my bottom 5 are 16, 18, 9, 22, 19 (17th to 21st)

I disliked BB13 due to all the twists as you pointed out, but despite this, I really like how the underdog alliance still made it a power struggle and gave the vets alliance one heck of a run for their money, despite the twists were in the vets’ favour.

wow BB18 is my favorite modern (BB16-present) season of Big Brother with BB17 a close second. Michelle, Natalie, Da'Vonne, Bridgette, Tiffany, and Bronte were soooooo good! Nicole was good too and her gameplay in that season is underrated! The female cast is one of the strongest imo. The power shifts happened so many times, a rarity in modern BB. The fall of Paulie was glorious! The fall of Frank was glorious! The fights were golden (Da'Vonne v. Paulie, Paulie v. The House, Tiffany v. Da'Vonne, Bridgette v. Michelle, etc)! I admit the season slowed down a tad bit near the end, but even then it wasn't bad and was enjoyable. It was good from beginning to end! You say BB18 is the opposite of BB21, having a great pre-jury but a weak post-jury, and I disagree since the post-jury still has a boot order you wouldn't be able to predict after just the pre-jury cause it has multiple power shifts. If anything, that would fit the heavily overrated BB20. Amazing pre-jury, hell, a great FIRST week of post-jury (Bayleigh's boot), but then it just became a boring, predictable steamroll where the less entertaining/messy/stratbot side of the house steamrolled... My bottom 5 - 21. BB16 (how is it still in, its so boring and predictable and ran by white males...ew) 20. BB19 (too toxic for me, but some drama brought it above BB16) 19. BB22 (boring but Da'Vonne was on it so I stan) 18. BB9 (all for entertainment and i think it's a little underrated but aside from a few, the cast is really unlikable AND even the drama is too toxic for me) 17. BB12 (love rachel and britney, but its not enough. some drama in this season is great, but i don't like the white male brigade that dominate the season)

BB21 is a top 10 post merge and just that alone it should be around 13/14. I know the pre merge was bad but cant drag the whole seasons lower than some (season 9 and 11 and 16 let’s be honest) 18 is a good season too

My bottom 5 from worst to slightly less worse 1. BB19: Bullying, boring, and barely no one likable to root for 2. BB:9: I mean come on, this was awful 3. BB22: It became so predictable and was so disappointing. Only redeeming qualities were Mama Da winning AFHG and Ian being a cutie 4. BB21: While it was interesting at some points, a large amount of the cast were problematic 5. BB11: Not an awful one, I just didn't really connect with any of the players and lost interest
