The reason vegeta doesn't use the artifical moon is he didn't regrow his tail. The machine forces his body to absorb the blutz waves where the "Burst open &Mix" needs the user to have a tail still. Remember Vegeta didn't remove the orb in saiyan saga but turned back when his tail was cut off.

Goku's mind reading/Telepathy does play an important part in the Frieza Saga. It's why he's able to hijack Kami and King Kai's telepathic conversation and request to stay back to fight Frieza.

I love the Buu saga spirit bomb because it was Vegeta's plan to use it. He was cooking with that plan to use the dragon balls to bring back Earth and restore all the citizens except bad ones. In a way, it was his redemption for killing those people at the tournament and for failing to kill Buu. Such a great ending to the Buu saga despite its flaws. Everyone that was there got to shine in some way.

The best techniques for me are solar flare and Destructo Disc, I mean Krillin could have spent all of his meter on those two, and spam them everytime. Krillin rules. And the Dragon fist should be canonized!
