Yeah, but the only Cast Member death that was recorded on campus occured on that ride (most deaths, Cast or Guest, are sent to Celebration Hospital nearby through a deal Disney has to be declared so they don't have a bunch of bodies on the "happiest place on earth.") I'd much rather ride the other original World's Fair ride that hasn't killed anyone (the Peoplemover, which I love because it's relaxing to me, and it's a calm and quiet place to calm down if I get overwhelmed with my Autism in the park) than the one that literally sucked the exit Cast Member into the space between the rotating wall and the stationary wall and shredded her like making buffalo chicken dip.

I went for the first time (that I can remember) back in October. I remember waiting all day for the wait times for Seven Dwarfs to go down, and finally it had gotten down to 40 minutes, which is the shortest I saw it all day. I will say, as much as I loved it, it was WAY too short of a ride in my opinion. Honestly if they added like another minute to the ride I would have felt better, but I got off feeling like I just waited 40 minutes for a ride that felt like lasted 1 minute. Unless I go with someone who’s never been before, and the wait time isn’t 30 minutes or less, I don’t know if I’ll ride it again. This may be unpopular opinion, and it seems like it is considering the wait time is almost always between 50-80 minutes lol.
@himynameiscorey2 жыл бұрын
ummm.. i mean, most coasters are shorter than a minute, so when you compare it to ride length of coasters its not really that crazy short of a ride. people have ALWAYS had to wait hour long lines for less than a minute on a ride, thats just how it goes at almost any amusement park.
@jennapipes63372 жыл бұрын
@@himynameiscorey but in Disney there’s a lot of attractions that are 40-50 minute wait times and the ride feels like it lasts a lot longer. Splash Mountain is 10 minutes, Haunted Mansion is 5. Big Thunder Mountain and Seven Dwarfs are the same amount of time at 3 minutes, however the dark ride portion not being longer on SDMT is the reason I think it felt so short.
@jamesmarshall66192 жыл бұрын

Side note: if one of your loved ones is over 6ft tall, space mtn, Astro orbiter, and sometimes splash mountain and 7 dwarfs can be knee squishers. Pirates is glorious though! The bench style seating made it one of the most comfortable rides for my 6 foot 4 hubby.

Lol Astro Orbiter is rough on me and I’m 5 ft 9.5” - super long legs and short torso though so that may be why. However the WORST was the speedway - I got a leg cramp I was so squished trying to press the pedal 😆

Oh yes!!! I'm 6'6" and usually weigh around 250lb. Splash Mountain is a tight fit for tall people who ride solo in their row. On my last visit I shared the row with a friend; I couldn't enjoy the ride because I was miserably squished into the row! I've always been totally comfortable sharing a row on Big Thunder. Seven Dwarves was a bit of a squeeze, but it wasn't bad for me. Astro Orbiter and Space Mountain have narrow seats, but they weren't uncomfortable since I could kinda bend my knees. Pirates and Small World are indeed gloriously comfortable due to their wide bench-style seats!

I will say that the rides we rode were so worth it, even when we only got on 4. Try to make a list of your top priorities to make the best of your day. Quality over quantity! My best advice is to go on all the mountain rides, splash, thunder, space, and seven dwarves (if it's a short line) Most people end up loving them! The Astro Orbiter is underrated I think. Not for the actual ride that’s… average. But the view 👌 Probably a one and done for most people but I liked it more than I thought I would

Question; which is faster at rope drop, walking to Fantasy Land, or taking the Train?

Some MK rides are better than others if the guest is in a wheelchair. Rides that accommodate wheelchairs easily include: Jungle Cruise, Flying Carpets of Aladdin, Tiki Room, it's a small world, Liberty Sq Riverboat, Little Mermaid. Rides that DON'T handle wheelchairs well: Pirates, Big Thunder, Splash Mtn, Space Mtn, Haunted Mansion, Buzz Lightyear, 7 Dwarfs Mine Train, Peter Pan.

Starting with Jungle Cruise: I rode recently for the first time in years, ready for all the jokes, but between the LOUD boat engine and the really unclear mic (and pretty fast-talking skipper) we could hear almost nothing. Is it always like that or did I just get a bad boat?? It was my partner's first trip and he had nothing good to say afterwards because of this, which is a bummer because of its reputation as a classic.

Sounds like you just had a bad boat - sorry about that! I've only been on Jungle Cruise a handful of times, but the skipper was audible and spoke clearly during each ride. Hopefully you'll have a better experience if you two decide to give it a second chance on a future visit!

You used to be able to get a free Fastpass to Pirates of the Caribbean before Genie + and Lightning Lanes became a thing. You'd have to complete a pirate treasure hunt to get it. Are the any free Lightning Lane hacks like this for any rides now that the system has changed?
