I have been fortunate to have Kings Island as my home park my whole life (I’m 54). I’m hoping that the new Six Flags ownership can replicate what KI and the top parks have, and pass it down the entire chain. I want everyone’s home park to have what we have.

Marc thank you! I admit I teared up a bit at our home park King's Island being your favorite. I'm 50 and grew up going to ki in the 80's and 90's riding the beast, the original bat 1981, screamin demon and king cobra. My 16 yr old son and I go up there all the time now and the place still continues to hold its hometown charm, and certainly has a heck of a ride lineup these days. 👍❤️

I went to Kings Island for my 3rd time a couple of weeks ago and I actually have to agree with its placement. The lineup, while maybe not quite as good as Cedar Point, is great! But that's not what I was impressed by on my last visit. I've always had great visits there but this last visit reminded me how great that park really is. The operations were IMPECCABLE! The staff were so friendly from the ride operators to the food service to the haunted attraction attendants and shop workers. The park is beautiful and so well maintained. Honestly, outside of a Disney or Universal park, hardly any other American park can compare (and honestly KI does better than the former 2 in some ways.)

Outside of Europa park and Phantasialand, Kings Island is my favorite park I have been too. I went back again this summer and it’s seriously one of the best ran parks I have ever been too.

When I first visited Cedar Point in 2019 when I was 14, I couldn’t believe how many roller coasters there were. I was so overwhelmed. My favorite was Maverick. Love the Kings island love, that’s my home park.

Man, I was just at Kings island for the first time Friday and yesterday and I had the best of time. My home park is Great America and the coaster lineup isn’t too far behind, but man the operations at KI are way superior and def make it a must go to park. Orion and diamond back top two for me 🙌🤘

I wasn’t expecting a new video this soon after the Europe trip so it was a nice surprise! What was even more of a surprise was that Phantom’s Revenge was included in the intro☺️💜🫰🏻 While I’ve only been to only 2 parks so far in this new merged company, I think Kings Dominion has been the best one for the afore reasons you mentioned about the coaster line up. Twisted Timbers is my #4 overall ranked coaster and I’m hopeful about Pantherian! Yes, agreed Six Flags America is EXTREMELY underrated! It definitely doesn’t compare to the other higher ranked parks on this list , but the 1-2 punch of Superman Ride of Steel and Batwing are pretty good👍🏻

Great video! If Kings Island gets a top tier coaster, it would push them above Cedar Point. Yes, it’s a better run park but coasters, food, and setting/atmosphere is not even close to Cedar Point. I always tell people if you have just one day to spend at either park, go to Kings Island. If you can make it a multi day trip, go to Cedar Point.

@@CoasterDash they have 5 coasters that you could say “that might be the best roller coaster here”. While Cedar Point has 4 roller coasters where you could say hands down that’s the best coaster here. Just my preference. Both parks have great lineups

Kings Island is my home park and I mostly agree with your rankings of the other parks I have been to. I recently went on a trip to California and visited the 4 Six Flags parks out there. They were all mostly about what I expected but Knotts Berry Farm was kind of disappointing to me. I hear a lot of people hype it up, but the place was so damn crowded with tons of teenagers being obnoxious and cutting in line. and this was on a Sunday and Monday The operations were also terrible with only one train running on almost everything. Jaguar and Calico Mine Ride were also closed. California's Great America was probably the smoothest running place we went to with multiple trains running on everything except for Grizzly. I loved Goldstriker and preferred it to the hyped up Ghostrider.

I got to finish out these parks in March with Frontier City, here is my list! 1. Cedar Point 2. Kings Island 3. Six Flags Magic Mountain 4. Six Flags Fiesta Texas 5. Knott's Berry Farm 6. Carowinds 7. Six Flags Great America 8. Kings Dominion 9. Canada's Wonderland 10. Six Flags Great Adventure 11. Six Flags Over Georgia 12. Six Flags Over Texas 13. California's Great America 14. Worlds of Fun (pre-Zambezi Zinger) 15. Six Flags Mexico (annoying policies and slower operations during my visit are what hold this park back a bit for me) 16. Six Flags Discovery Kingdom 17. Six Flags New England 18. Six Flags St. Louis 19. Dorney Park (pre-Iron Menace) 20. Valleyfair 21. Six Flags Darien Lake 22. Six Flags America (I agree the operations aren't terrible but ride breakdowns and delayed openings have been an issue on both of my visits) 23. Michigan's Adventure 24. Six Flags Great Escape (pre-Bobcat) 25. Frontier City 26. La Ronde For the parks I made a note of visiting pre-something, it's because I think they are most likely to move up a bit when I return. For the parks in spots 7-10, there also might be some rearranging depending on how their 2025 additions pan out.

Your list is pretty close to mine. I want to redo my list based entirely on Halloween events. I’ve done Halloween at Canadas Wonderland (home park), Cedar Point, Kings Island, Dorney Park, Great Adventure, Darien Lake, and Knotts and so far Dorney is my fav by a wide margin.

Six Flags Great Adventure, myhome park, has god awful rollercoaster operations, especially El Toro and Superman. You spend more time waiting in the stations while they try to lock the trains. Then when you return you sit in the weather while you wait for the train in the station to leave.

I've never visited Michigan's Adventure or LA Ronde, but Shivering Timbers and Goliath are the most beautiful coasters in the world TO LOOK AT, especially Goliath. Please correct me if you think I'm wrong. But I will admit that Cedar Point and Kings Island are the best two parks in the now combined Six Flags chain.

(Not So Great) America is my home park, and I’ve been feeling a bit less hopeful about its future in recent years than in past years. That said, the improvements made this year was great. The operations are getting better and the lines are never long for rides, so I’m happy for that. Uptime is the only major issue with this park.

I agree Kings Island is the gold standard for Amusement Parks. 🤩 Cedar Point is amazing but there are too many flaws. Wonderland has so much potential to be like Kings Island but ops, management and park associates ruin it for me as someone who goes often. It’s not a bad park and the ride collection and beauty is what makes up for its flaws but if u moved the people at Kings Island to Wonderland I think my statement would change.
