Immortal Legacy is definitely the KIND of game PSVR needs more of: the cinematic action/adventure type game. As far as a sequel, I really doubt that the people involved had any idea what they were going to write next as every part of the game looked like story ideas from people on opposite sides of the world.

Killing floor was definitely better imo. AZ was decent but it was soon outpaced. I also think Walking Dead Onslaught is actually better too

Saints and sinners is amazing but I am finding it a tough game which is effecting my enjoyment. Maybe I need to start again as I wonder if I am too far in. Every street now has lots of zombies and my ammo and weapons are non existent. I know that’s kind of the point but I seem to be die a lot. For my the persistence was number one. Great video would like to see more themed ranked games.

I had to start over once I figured out that I wasn't getting things done fast enough. Once I didn't let a day go by without completing at least one mission the game got way easier.

Zombies are overused... Now that I have your attention I seen a decapitation due to a sword.. I know many sword fighting VR games are available but imagine... Highlander VR.. Full motion game as you explore areas through the ages as an immortal who has seem as much as Connor McCloud has.. Start the game out in a war with minimalistic rustic weapons like the Scottish had , Connor hasn't become Immortal yet but this would be the Training section of the game.. Connor with basic weapons and Combat skills fight average enemy soldiers until training is completed... Then test what you learned against an endless supply of AI enemies till Connor dies.... Reawakened he views his land and home destroyed, family slaughtered and He decides to leave... on the Journey his "sense" of another immortal near Frightens him.. He doesn't know the feeling but his natural Instinct is to prepare for battle.... Enter Methos.. A guide and teacher who explains the rules and the immortality to Connor with one exception of a true death and how it will all end with one Immortal saying, "There can be only one!" Now Connor travels the world to learn combat skills with swords from Japanese Culture, Middle eastern and other countries.. Yet in these countries he comes across other Immortals who want his head.. Feeling their presence with the science he could prepare for Battles or roam around on quest and seek out battles by coming across the Scenes of other Immortals...After beheading them Connor would Get their strength, fighting knowledge, and weapons while making enemies from the allies of the ones Connor has beheaded... Therefore hunting and being hunted all through time until an enemy that has cause all of Connors suffering be revealed as the one who destroyed his Mortal life Hundreds of years ago.. The last two Immortals!! Could also be a sweet multiplayer game.. imagine that angle..

The only thing I’m mad about is in the clip about contagion it shows a bolt action rifle on the roof of the first chapter I’ve played the game and I get an m16 with a scope I’m just like what the heck guys

Cool. I actually thought that the zombie parts of Immortal Legacy was the strongest part of it . . . even though the game itself was one of the best examples I can think of as "LESS than the sum of its parts" for how haphazardly the thing came together. The Persistence is my pick out of this list though -- so amazing.

The only thing i hate about most vr games i've played in the past is the gun play is absolutely amazing, but its usually short lived. Like in killing floor incursion, using the sniper rifle in that on mission is so fun and i replayed it 20 times to keep killing with it, but thats the only way to actually get the sniper is in that one level and it only last about 15 minutes. I wish there was a game specifically for gunplay where i didn't have to worry with levels and ammo count but i can explore and kill.

@@WithoutParole not that I know of. I'm pretty sure it is the last boss. Getting here was a blast & I loved every minute of it. I suck at Shooters except when I'm in the VR. 😁 I will definitely play this one again and probably again.. this next time I'm going to make sure I get the BFG. I saw it Midway through my game but I didn't know how to get it and I passed it up like a dummy. Now I think I might be screwed.hahaha

@@64onehotmama if you're truly at the last boss, where you run around in a circular arena, it's the cube you need. After you charge it up by killing the lower demons use it on the main boss. Takes 4-5 hits. I had this same problem for a long time until someone helped me out.

It freaks me out knowing I don't have BFG to use it with.😁 can I use it without that gun? THNX ya, I'm 57 & live by myself, & play by myself..hehe. @@64onehotmama The cube works like a weapon. You first charge it by killing demons and when it's ready switch to it with the weapon select and pull the trigger while facing the boss. The cube should jump from your hands and start slicing up the boss with little mini saws. Then you gotta recharge it by killing more of the lower level demons. The cube should light up and make a sound when it's ready to use.

The flashlight does shine a pretty narrow beam so dark areas like the school can seem especially dark. But I never found it to be too dark personally

Found Saints and Sinners difficult to play. I couldn’t get past the first zombie fighting with a screwdriver that also breaks down quickly. Can’t kill him, keep dying and loading screens are so long. Would’ve been nice to start out with the gun.

Yeah I can imagine that if you can't take down the first zombie Saints and Sinners would be daunting. You *should* be able to grab the zombie's head with one hand and jam the screwdriver into its skull with the other hand and kill it pretty easily --- so i'm not sure exactly what trouble you're having...

And I’m too squeamish being to the zombie up this close. Even after I grab his head I can’t land the precise stab.

I think the scarier sections of Immortal Legacy were probably the high point. Man that game was all over the place but it had some solid scares. The persistence would be my number 1 by a mile out of this list, though. I guess you didn't consider the monsters in RE7 to be zombies. (We'll have to take this debate to a biologist who specializes in the undead!)
