When it comes to Fontaine's characters, I have some ideas since I was in marching band (where my clarinet squad at) Furina/Focalors - Trumpet for sure; she screams energy Charlotte - I think she could be the missing Bass 1, since they carry the melodics of the bass drum line and she's always looking to prove herself at The Steambird Lyney - Snare considering the snare folks are always doing tricks Lynette - Colorguard (majorette); also known to do nice tricks Freminet - Clarinet cause he's rather quiet (it's very hard to notice a clarinet in a big marching band) Clorinde - Everything about her screams Honor Guard Navia - Trumpet; she's loud and proud Neuvilette - The band director; he's the serious one who maintains order Sigewinne - Color guard; she cares about the band Wriothesley - Tuba/Sousaphone; he's the warden of Fontaine's prison and he wants to maintain order, tubas give off dark vibes cause of their extremely bassy sound
