Before handing them over to the two guys, you can linger a bit and instead feed the brown Turkoman horse sugar cubes and peppermints until you get bonding level 1. Then hand in the mission and when you are at camp again, just go back to where the guys are and the horse will be there as a temporary horse.

Ik in stats the Draft Shire horses are not that good but man i love my horse i got from Hosea. Its to big and intimidating and even though it does not have an extra health stats compared to other good horses (even though it 100% should its literally the biggest and strongest horse in the game) i still really like my boy Saxton. Named after Saxton Hale from TF2 because both him and my horse are true gigachads.

I loved the veteran missions so much. However, as soon as I got buell (as John) i got robbed. I fired shots at the thugs which scared him off. I searched everywhere, tried reloading the checkpoint, but never found him. I cried myself to sleep that night 😟😢😭

My black arabian was a godly horse, i had named her Jolyne, she stomped on gators like they were inferior beings (i did spam the calm button but still alot of cowardly horses would run anyway if you are too close to a dangerous animal) other than that she was extremely fast and resilient, sadly enough she got shot down by Saint Denis cops because i did a crime without knowing it was a crime (i had killed a cow for a perfect pelt, but i had forgotten it counted as the crime of animal cruelty) and so not only i got killed and lost money, i also had to pay the bounty AND i had lost my best horse.
