I agree with changes being the best! still enjoying that album very much. have your thoughts on silver cord changed yet? for me it was very much a love at first listen type record as I am very into electronic music. btw I love the hair!

Petrodragonic Apocalypse and Infest the Rats Nest are my top two KG albums, I like that style of theirs the most. I said something similar to what you mentioned in your video at a Halloween party last night- speaking to someone unfamiliar with the band: “you might not like all of their material, but keep checking out the albums because you’ll definitely find something you’ll love”.

Changes was my fav too. I saw them in concert the day before it released in New Orleans and got to listen to Changes on the long drive home.

My ranking of their '22 releases, from weakest to strongest (as a massive gizzhead there are like only one or two albums I'd ever have the heart to call "worst" haha) 5. Made in Timeland 4. Omnium Gatherum 3. Changes 2. Ice, Death, Planets... 1. Laminated Denim As for The Silver Cord, it's not a record I'll find myself revisiting the most often, but it's a fascinating record. Set, Gilgamesh, and the title track are my faves, all bangers.

Ok so I’m not saying this to be different, but Changes is genuinely my least favorite of 2022. I love the first 2 songs but then it’s just more difficult to get into after that. HOWEVER I have only listened twice, and not at all in 2023 so I’ll be listening tonight to see if the entire thing comes together!

@@marysmusictaste gotta be Omnium Gatherum! I’m a huge hip hop, metal, Prog, ambient, phych, fan, so the entire album from beginning to end aside from blame it on the weather is just absolutely amazing for me. Dripping tap, evilest man and Magenta mountain are all 3 perfect songs!
