Cobrana's Random Gaming Moments His comeback to the label really wasn't that good. His sound design is generic and boring and he doesn't try to make any interesting rhythms.
My rankings: 40. I (Still) Dream Of You There's nothing I find interesting about this song, and I'm generally not a huge Kill Paris fan 39. Lose It All I usually get so excited for an old artist to return but not this guy 38. What U Wanna Do Booooooooring 37. Loving Her Loving U The only Justin Oh song I don't like, there's something about She's a Killer and his two Instinct ones that I love that this one just doesn't have, not sure what it is though 36. One Thing Finally, songs I like. I love Slippy but ever since UV4 he hasn't really been at too much of his A-game 35. Hank's Back Certain parts I like. The main drop is not one of those parts. 34. Play Your Part Nothing wrong, nothing right 33. The Storm Okay, I LOOOVE the second drop SO much, but the rest of it is so boring in my opinion 32. Home Stale 31. How We Win Production is okay, but with a less boring drop I'd like it more 30. Meltdown See Play Your Part 29. Magic Doesn't work as an EDM song. Would work extremely well as a vocals-and-acoustic-guitar-only song. 28. Hate Being Alone Surprising to see Slander make heavy dubstep by himself and not in a collab but not a particularly unpleasant surprise either 27. Bliss On Mushrooms This used to be in my top 10 but psytrance is growing off me 26. Wobble The only thing putting it down this low is the repetition in the drops 25. Running To You If the entire song focused only on the vocals, this would be in my top 5. (It'd probably be on Instinct too though, lol) 24. Show Me See Meltdown, except I like the second drop 23. The Edge Really good for Grant 22. Solid No good reason to like this, just do 21. You Don't Even Know Me Amazing for Slander, horrible for RIOT 20. Breakout Great rap, drop is OK 19. You Might Get Lost Nice chord progression 18. Not IRL See Solid 17. 1000 Cuts One of KUURO's best on the label, by far 16. Into The Light See Show Me, but add "a lot" to the end 15. Tombstone See Not IRL 14. Cave Me In Good ole FWLR production, and the 6/8 section was phenomenal 13. Badmash MOOMBAH 12. EPIC Good ole Tokyo 11. Ultima I just love Pixel Terror, that's all 10. U Got Me See Tombstone 09. The Government Stonebank making not-so-happy hardcore and I love it 08. Jungle Fury RIOT + psytrance = this masterpiece 07. Fizzy Lifting Drink See U Got Me 06. Machina See Ultima (that describes the first drop). The second drop is emotional, long story behind why 05. I'll Fight Back Not including Overkill, this song has Monstercat's most pleasantly surprising second drop. 04. Fire Flower See Fizzy Lifting Drink 03. Overkill I think the female British voice at the beginning isn't that bad. The fact that RIOT tried drumstep was merely interesting, and the electric guitar was okay. The switchup to hardcore definitely was kinda good as it kind of spiced up the song a little tiny bit, and the yelling of "kill them all" and "somebody scream" was alright. AH WHAT THE HELL I LOVE THE ENTIRE SONG 02. Only In A Dream Au5 is amazing 01. Axis See Fire Flower, except I love this more than Overkill for some odd reason

40 - 21 (Wow this bottom half hurts me a little, but I agree a lot.) 40 | 5/10 - This track isn't bad or anything but I guess it didn't really catch my eye that it was Atmozfears that had returned and was still with the original hardstyle...well style. 39 | 8/10 - The intro to this song is amazing, and it this song isn't too focused on being heavy than what I had imagined. And you're right, for a song titled what it is, it's not as heavy as we were expecting. I guess our views differ from each other. But I do understand how you feel. 38 | 4/10 - Aero really did take a different direction somehow. With Play Your Part, it doesn't really go well with me. The interesting beat and samples make this seem like a very minimal entry back into Trap. It's pretty mediocre, but I guess that may be the case since he didn't go back to it for a few months? 37 | 7/10 - I honestly do agree with you here. The production and vocals are a bit more stronger here and are more effective at its performance. Drops are standard, but again, effective. 36 | 6/10 - It's alright, Hawksey. I don't blame you, it does falter upon the drops being empty. And yes, it could've had a bit more of a punch to it. And Sara's vocals here are just enough to keep me listening. Sadly, I think the next few listens might be the last. 35 | 11/10 - What I love most is the fact that this song is outright beast. Whatever that is in the background, it literally sounds like it's saying "Clockvice" and I LOVE IT. The cover art, the drops are just absolute madness, and I listen to this almost any day. (I'm sorry you feel that way, I don't blame you though. I know some people wouldn't like this. Also, I may be fanboying over this cause of the 11/10 deal.) 34 | 7/10 - I can agree that What U Wanna Do isn't exactly as strong as the other top players in their discography. However, the melody and vocals are what keeps this song alive and me listening. Also, I'm a little mad at this but at least I'm not "I hOpE hAwKsEy dIeS" (ugh). 33 | 6/10 - It's catchy, but that's about it. It's a standard UK Hardcore tracks from someone like Darren or Dougal, heck maybe even Gammer in some cases, but there's nothing really different that's changed at all last time. Other than that, it's forgettable. 32 | 8/10 - Sully King's vocals are always great to hear, and I honestly do applaud him for getting his first single out, which was a success. I always knew that he was a great artist and more than just a vocalist, and this is a good example among others. Sorry you feel this way about this. 31 | 4/10 - I didn't really like this at all. There's nothing a whole lot interesting and flops completely. I didn't even make it all the way through on my first listen so I'm sort of happy(?) that I didn't. To sum it all up quickly, not good enough nor was it good at the start. I agree that this could've been better. 30 | 3/10 - Weak, one-noted, very little variation. This song is just a disaster despite its romantic intro and theme. You see, brostep and romance aren't exactly two things that go together perfectly and YDEKM is the only song that works best in the entire EP. Sadly, Elle Vee's vocals don't quite do enough to save this disaster. 29 | 7/10 - This switch was a huge surprise to me, and for a different twist to actually have a future bass song on Uncaged (not that it's the first time), I'm actually happy for this achievement. Modestep has done some really good stuff, and I'm excited to see where they go! (Aside Summer and the fact they appear more on Disciple, not that their stuff is bad there of course) 28 | 4/10 - This works a bit better than Running to You, but again it still has it's flaws with one-noted drops and little variation. However, these drops are less repetitious, but are still forgettable. And while Dylan Matthew's vocals are okay, it's again not enough to save this. 27 | 8/10 - Personally, the brostep drop is timed a bit better here and not as repetitious as the other two. The melodic dubstep part was what I know made the song a whole lot different for a collab with Slander and RIOT. Other than that, all I have to say is that this was the only song that I was know was actually of better quality in the EP. Also, you're not wrong. 26 | 10/10 - I love how well this is done, cause holy crap, the two different drops are BEAUTIFUL. And yeah, sometimes it's easy to miss. But some people can feel the emotion within the track. I don't think that could be it though, so I'm not sure what it could be other than that. 25 | 7/10 - (I might change this rating later.) Having this ranked so high surprises me, because somehow this song has that charm that I enjoy in a way, and that the drops are minimal but still strong. So yeah, I really like this a lot. 24 | 4/10 - Again, this suffers the same issue as Atmozfears. SCNDL has had their share of getting meme'd, but that's just it. Other than The Munsta and the following remixes, I don't think I had really any interest. So after being hyped upon hearing their return, I...guess I lost steam for it. This isn't bad though, that I'll say for sure. 23 | 10/10 - After coming off of Crab Rave, Noisestorm still delivers greatly. This track is absolute bonkers along with the video. That's all. 22 | 7/10 - I'll admit, I didn't like this upon first listen. But the more I listen to it, the more I gain a feel for it. I don't want to say it's a guilty pleasure, but it's growing on me. And the drops slap too. 21 | 10/10 - Let me say this now, first time I heard this, I was grooving. The saxes and vocals here intertwine perfectly along with the melody and drops, and overall it's lovely. (This is kind of a first impression so I don't know if I'll change this.)
@astralinfinity5 жыл бұрын
20 - 1 20 | 6/10 - This is interesting, to say the least. I have to take another listen. 19 | 8/10 - This song had a lot for me, and the vocals and drops do just that. This is honestly one of the collabs I never expected yet worked so well. (Believe me, I've been listening to Nytrix's stuff and it's great [cause y'know all the ads for his album]) 18 | 9/10 - Grant's take on trap solo is blown out of the water here. Nevve vocals are great here, and are quite dark as they go. The feel and emotion flowing through this track carries it greatly for me, and I'm glad that it does. 17 | 7/10 - This is honestly the track I felt that stood out a lot in the EP, and you're right, Lil Hank's tracks aren't themed well, but have a great personality to them. And I think that Lil Hank deserves some credit for doing his best on the tracks that he makes. 16 | 8/10 - This song is great. But for some reason I feel that there is a slight emptiness in the drop. It doesn't flaw it greatly, but it's a slight takeaway. (That might have been petty(?) of me I don't know) 15 | 7/10 - I'll listen to this again, so that way I have a better idea. I'll say it's good for now. 14 | 6/10 - This song pretty much screams Kill Paris' style, which isn't a bad thing. The vocals are interesting, and I definitely think that I could listen to this a lot more if I could. There's not a whole lot I could say other than this track is alright, and I should give it more attention. 13 | 9/10 - Can I just make it clear that RIOT makes every song golden? And that their album is going to rock the entire community? 12 | 8/10 - I felt this was really misleading cause of the opening making me feel like it was melodic dubstep. But the overall dubstep feeling here is one that I think works very well. So overall, this track is one for the book. 11 | 8/10 - This is a lot better than She's A Killer for not having a wall of bass most of the time in the drop, and the vocals impact this song greatly. 10 | 8/10 - Believe me, Notaker has a nice blend of Synthwave and industrial bass. And yes, Karra's voice is almost forgotten in this song because of how little the vocals are in the track. But despite all the flaws in this song, it's still very enjoyable for me. 9 | 5/10 - I need to listen to this fully to get an idea of where I stand. I usually start out at 5/10 because I'm not sure what to think. I'll come back and edit this when I know. 8 | 8/10 - Julian Calor is starting to grow on me. That's all I can really say about this. 7 | 6/10 - It's honestly an alright track from Pixel Terror, but I guess I'm not exactly used to their style of dubstep. Being one who's never exactly heard of them, I find it enjoyable in some way, but my opinion on this song is probably likely to change. So after a few more listens I'll probably see then. 6 | 8/10 - The first drop is nice, but then the second drop completely turns it around and makes it something different. Machina in this case with its theme being dark and melodic, I can say that alongside Contra, this is one of my favorite by Pixel Terror as of currently. 5 | 5/10 - Read 9. 4 | 5/10 - Read 5. (Ugh) 3 | 7/10 - Very minimal, a non-repetitive sample, very hype. This passes in my book because it works out to be a good track, and FWLR has a lot going for it in this one. 2 | 9/10 - For a 9 and half minute journey, you should already know this is Infected Mushroom. The fact that they included Miyavi for the guitar in the song, alongside the catchiness of the intro, it got me sold. So the first time I actually got through it, I was very pleased with it. 1 | 11/10 - Should I really say anything else other than the fact that RIOT pretty much made themselves golden?

40 100% though less because it's Hardstyle, though a genre I don't care for regardless, and more because it's generic as fuck. 39 This one's a grower for me, though other than the random bass growls, nothing here says "storm" to me either. I'm also not a big fan of Notaker in general. Respect his talent though. 38 Call me a tasteless casual but this is top 10 material tf. 37 Though far inferior to both Two Minds and the entire Flux EP, seriously though Armani Reign made his MC debut and comeback and no one is gonna notice, I do like this somewhat. 36 Ok now you're fucking with me. Best future bass song I've heard since Grant's Weapon. Top 3 material right here. 35 Beyond this song and his collab buddy Lifecycle, I know nothing of Clockvice. Though if Lifecycle was any indication, I'm surprised this isn't a riddim song. If it was it probably wouldn't be my 2nd favorite either. 34 Too much like Loving Her Loving U, right down to the album art. 33 I kinda like this one, not really anything unique, it's actually really forgettable tbh, but still enjoyable. 32 Top 5 material. You must really hate my tastes do ya? 31 As if Wicked could get any worse. That also makes 2/2 on bad MC Tisoki tracks. I thought I liked the guy. 30 Probably my least favorite of the three. In fact when I first heard this I didn't recognize Spag Heddy at all, considering his style hasn't changed since Samir that's both surprising and a surprising detriment. 29 Somehow being the heavier Closer + Summer combo of what I like to call future step (take a guess what that's supposed to be), it didn't make it better. Not too big a fan of Summer but Conro's Closer is still great. Interesting idea, not great execution. 28 Remember when glitchy drops were cool? 2010 - 2014 remembers. 27 Top 15 material for me, agreed that this is the best of three but aside from the whiplashing dynamic between the two artists, I don't see much wrong here. 26 Top 10 material for me most due to its unique future bass? thing. Though considering its slow and emptiness, I can see both sides easy. 25 The best of the three in my opinion though none of them make it higher than 20. Honestly this is probably where I would put it too. 24 Not a big fan of psytrance, or any trance for that matter, but it's nice to see SCNDL come back I guess. 23 This was alot higher back in October. Now it's more like the bottom of the top half. Still great though and probably one of the best tracks to get pumped up too, along with I'll Fight Back, 1000 Cuts and Overkill if we're talking this album. Also exactly 6 months after Crab Rave, the MC debut of legendary grime rappers Foreign Beggars (and comeback from like 2016) and an amazing start to my MC birth week (didn't get a song since it was a Wednesday plus Lose It All exists but still)! 22 Sounds like Gammer backseated production for this. I don't know why I like this either. 21 Well at least we beat out French Kiss after it being uncontested on the channel for 6 and a half years. 20 For some reason I think What U Gonna Do is this, though this isn't really any better. 19 *Flashback to Firepower Recs and Chime in May 2018* Still not sure how this won over The Journey for BO18 but it's awesome so I can't complain. Btw, anyone think Chime should be featured on MC at some point? One song is good enough for me. 18 Top 15 for me again and arguable the bounciest trap song I've heard since Moving Hectic. Not sure how this beat Fault, and shut out Myrne despite Lyra existing, but this is just as good. 17 Probably my second least favorite FB song in the album, second only to IRL. 16 Haven't heard Neuro Jump Up since Place made So Excited. Not my favorite from the EP either but they're all good choices and Muzzy needed to redeem himself after the two Cascade singles. 15 Fun though since I failed to keep up with them since The Government, I forget about this and U Got Me alot. Though U Got Me more so than this one. 14 The most forgettable of the three in here. 13 What is this, Disorder meets The Mob? There's alot going on here and I love it. 12 Always been a favorite of mine. It's basically melodic riddim which, while I'm sure it has been done before, is not something I've before. 11 Getting the DSG seal of approval apparently helped this guy, though I don't care about that. Unless we're counting 1000 Cuts, this is one of my favorite trap songs in the album. 10 Sounds like literally every other Notaker song. NEXT! 9 Like the two Bossfight songs, I forget this exists but it's a nice one anyway. Though it seems to be expected from FWLR anyway. 8 Can't tell if this my favorite of the three Psytrance tracks or least favorite. 7 This one is like Bossfight but it's more I forget how it sounds and less I forgot it exists entirely. 6 So close to my placement, mine is at 5. Not sure how this beats Contra but I've since grown on that song due to BO18. 5 Cookies was shit. Fly was ok but this is awesome. Seems TM knows how to end the years off with a bang since they've all been in the Best ofs 3 times in a row. And this one is no exception. Sorry Spooky, I'll have to let go because Epic is my new favorite. 4 Explained already in Badmash 3 Forgot to add this to the ranks of I'll Fight Back and Breakout for must pumped up song. 2 So UV6 has broken both the shortest song and longest song record, at least regard the channel anyway. I like the guitar in this one. 1 Saw this one coming since the beginning. And there is no reason why it should be anywhere else. My two favorite things combined in the best possible way you can think of. Take that Code: Pandorum. Take that Sully King. Take that Djent. Take that Excision. And take that PhaseOne. They are the leaders now!

So you're not part of the Clockvise jerkcircle but you are part of the RIOT jerkcircle? Makes sense.

Hawksey So many people are putting Overkill as number one or top 10, but it's really not that well made.

more like my #40 is bad but first drop playing instead of the hardcore one? disagree with the people who put overkill #1
