Nice to see somebody rank Mosou Express higher than Renai Circulation. The eeriness Mosou takes the cake for me. Though I think it’s knly my third after the openings for Sodachi Lost(second) and Tsubasa Cat. Both of those are haunting in both visuals and songs

While I'm not sure I would put either as the best opening, together I don't think there is a question they are best. Watching them back to back shows terrifying Nadeko was, but we just didn't really see it until it was too late. Mosou Express really needs Renai Circulation to work, and it sends chills down my spine...

In my opinion, I'm gonna have to rank Sugar Sweet Nightmare my favorite, those haunting imagery and the panic sounding vocals are what make me love it. In fact, it's one of my favorite Yui Horie songs. another reason why I like: just, cats. im a cat lover Mousou Express is also really good, but it needs Renai Circulation to brings chills to my spine, atleast. And just, fuck the meme. The meme got me into Monogatari but the meme can't capture the how amazing it parallels with Sengoku's actual personality. It's just "haha cute song go brrrr".

But it's not like it's a huge difference either. If I were to do my own top (which would be very difficult, to be honest, so I won't actually bother, I'd rather just do a tier list), fast love and kogarashi sentiment would still be right next to each other.

I'm glad mousou express got #1, it's honestly one of my favs all around as a OP. I'm glad you noticed the reference to the first Op of Nadeko, where they play the main tune of it in the minor key, that was one thing I noticed which was amazing. I feel like the list was overall good, but some could be shifted up or down a level.

They are all great except for Orange Mint, that one is really meh. If you play Koyomi Reverse in reverse it is actually Araragi talking in the background, it's also epic, in my top 10. Mathgemagics has a awesome song, but I think I would put Sugar Sweet Nightmare and Platinum Disco above it. Dark Cherry Mystery>Decent Black (DCM is just so much more wholesome and uplifting and cute! ) Kagarashi Sentiment>Staple Stable (just too classy)

The OP in zoku is actually the ED and the ED is actually the OP so your list is already off.
