Hey Melissa 😊 As always I loved your video, proper information as to why those palettes are placed where they were. For me it’s the other way around, I have huge problems with eyeshadows creasing on me. And I have to say I like the color stories of gloss gods, not so much the gal on Jupiter though, somehow it’s so uninspiring to me idk. And gloss gods is one of those brands along with unearthly and cosmic beauty, where I really need to put in a lot of work because their shimmers always crease heavily on me. And believe me, I am wishing soo much that they would work. On the other hand, I don’t know what it is for me about the Ensley Reign formula but I can get away with wearing their shimmers without using glitter glue and they wear perfect all day long. For me they are totally worth it. Plus I absolutely love their mattes to me they are soo buttery and smooth, much better for me than for example BBB and co. I guess everyone is different, and everyone gets along with different brands I guess 😅 Sending lots of love to you from Germany 🫶🏻

That is so interesting! Thanks for sharing. It really shows how we are all different. Do you find your eyeshadow creasing cause you have oily lids or because of your eye shape? I wonder if they makes a difference on performance.

@@melissanaydelline I have hooded eyes but my eyelids are very very oily… even when I am not wearing eyeshadow I wear an eyeshadow primer, otherwise my oils break down parts of my mascara and then my eyes start burning 🤷‍♀️ I have huge problems with Pat McGraths metallics, I always have to use a glitter glue to keep them from creasing …😩 By now I know what I have to do and which eyeshadows I have to keep an eye on throughout the day… with Ensley Reign I don’t have to worry and that’s why they are my favorite brand and totally worth it for me . 😊 Greetings from Germany 🫶🏻

I still want to try ER and I own the CB Muse palette and love it so I’m waiting until Black Friday to pick up the two neutral palettes from them. Unearthly’s formula is definitely better now, I couldn’t work with their mattes before and almost gave up on buying anything else from the but SS and Dreamer have been a dream to work with. I honestly haven’t been wearing makeup this summer just tinted moisturizer most days. Thanks for sharing your thoughts.

Did you see the new smaller Ensley reign just announced? Definitely in the right direction but I don’t know if I’m going to pick them up still. I think a lot of people are happy they are doing smaller/more affordable palettes.

I had the same issue with the Oden's Eye collab palettes. I got them for the same reason as you and feel the same. I loved the color story for the Earthwood palette so much but the dark mattes were so bad. So patchy! So hard pressed! There's a conspiracy theory that Oden's Eye sends a premium formula to influencers and a cheap formula for those who purchase. I don't know that that's real at all, maybe they have a serious quality control issue or totally cheaped out on the formula or manufacturing, but honestly I never use them because it takes so much work. I want to because they're beautiful, but the time and effort is ridiculous for the price and compared to the other awesome indie palettes that I have. It has definitely turned me off to the brand completely. I doubt I'll ever buy anything from them again. So disappointing. You have a new subscriber though, I love honest reviews! Thank you for really being honest, it means so much and it's so hard to find.

Did you end up picking up the new beauty bay botanical palette? I'm still tempted by the cosmic brushes new palettes, did you grab them? Nudetrals sold out so I'm unsure if I just wait until the September restock to place an order

Sooo I’ve been going back and forth on botanicals. Part of me knows BB doesn’t keep their palettes around so I’m considering it but at the same time it’s mostly the shimmer in there I like. I’ll probably wait until Black Friday for cosmic beauty - I definitely plan on picking them up though the nudetrals at least. I’m a little glad it’s sold out lol it forces me to wait

I haven’t tried Cosmic Beauty yet but that blue palette is DEFINITELY on my list, I also want the Muse and Serenity so bad. I’m really late to the game on that brand. I mean, I’m usually late 😂BUT I’m really late on that one.

I heard nudetrals is sold out so I will probably wait until Black Friday too. I’ve also been leaning into not a lot of makeup for summer - but that’s ok!
