I recently purchased 4 amouages! This month for my birthday I leaped and bought 540!! I’m giving my dupe away, with the quickness!! I also bought Creed Aventus for Her! Hey Sharida. It seems the new PDM is not getting great reviews by anyone. I brought the Vanilla Romance Candle room spray after hearing you talk about it the first time. Safanad I adore. The ylang ylang pulls more on me than anything. Like that sunscreen vibe that I don’t care for too much, but I do enjoy Safanad and wear her often. Le rosee actually lasts on me, and it’s the only real aquatic fragrance I own and love lol

I’m a rose girl so I should have known better than to try it when I’m on a no-buy right now. Ok I’m a PDM FAN AND A HUGE VIOLET FAN. I had to take a break from the fragrance world for a while after realizing how much $$$$ I had spent but I may have to go to Sak’s to check Palatine out. Violets are super tricky and they’re either earthy or they’re masked. Or with mimosas which I get for the sweetness but am not a fan of. I still think Insolence is my favorite violets perfume then The Virgin Violet by Gucci with Florale Violet by Gucci.

Safanad, Althair and Oriana are my faves but sadly I wouldn’t repurchase any of them. The market is saturated with great dupes and smell-alikes to a point where investing in (some) niche can’t be justified anymore. I’m just gonna save a few drops to justify keeping the cute bottles 😅

I had the opposite experience with Greenwich Village. On me the sugary praline dominated the shit out of everything else but that happens a lot with me which is why I have to avoid vanillas and gourmands. They get syrupy sweet and cloying. I wish I got more citrusy Ambroxan!

Palatine was on my wish list for sure, but man if it smells like lavender AT ALL, you can count me out. Some folks said it kinda smells like YSL Libre? Well I can’t stand YSL Libre, so no mam lol! I adore violet and Iris/Orris though, but man if theirs any lavender in it you can count me out! Good luck tryna sell any of your PDM on Mecari. Everyone wants to pay SO CHEAP for them because of all the FEES mecari piles on top of the purchase! I got Darcy on there for 125 full bottle authentic, and people like it but want to pay 100 for it and I’m like really? A 375$ fragrance you wanna pay 100$ for it? Do I blame them for all the extra fees? No, but even trying to get HALF of retail on Mercari it’s hard to get, cause nobody wants to even pay half price for them because of the 50$ in fees mecari charges!

PDM is my favorite niche house and I have 8 from the female line and 3 from the men’s line. Althair is up there for me too. Also LOVE Carlisle. Meliora is sooo underrated and one of my most complimented PDM fragrances which is shocking because it’s not my fav but it does get a ton of attention. Delina Exclusif is my #1. Waiting on my Palatine sample although I’m not as excited as I was based on this review. I love that you share your collection with your daughter, I do too. ❤❤❤ We have some lucky girls.
