The problem is Guardiiola has always been a coach of top notch, wealthy clubs where he has had some of the best players in the world, but a really good coach has to be judged what he has to do on slim pickings. I can't stand Real, but Anceloti formed a team that won La Liga and the Champions League with an average goalkeeper (Lunin) and needing to use midfielders as center backs. That is a sign of a great coach. If Guardiola cannot get a star studded team back on track just cause he is missing Rodri and some of his other players have briefly lost their form, he is not really the best ever. I don't care how good the pilot is in handling the most expensive plane in the world in nice weather, but does he know how to fly it through the worst weather.
