initio for the s plus tier. the house as a whole is the most magnificent. dark , seductive, sophisticated, complex,unique,gorgeous and masculine. . almost like the darker tom ford fragrances done in an even superior way.

OK I've heard enough. You put Parfums de Marly in the top tier? Lol. Ahead of Creed and Tom Ford. Sorry, but I have to vet the fragrance content creators I subscribe to. Often times, the young ones haven't developed the bonifides yet.

Creed price/performance is crap. He had a solid argument for putting them where they are. In the recent years PDM have been much more creative, longer lasting fragrances and cheaper compared to Creed. Creed has not produced anything of worth since Aventus.

In fact, it's a philistine argument typically made by very young people who haven't developed a level of sophistication that would enable them to appreciate this. Creed used mostly high quality, natural materials, and its perfumers, such as Pierre Bourdon, under the scent evaluation of Olivier Creed, created much more subtle artistic creations than Parfums de Marly (😂). And classic Creed scents are typically light in profile, so naturally they wont perform like the heavier, cruder, more synthetic PdM scents, (😂). But even classic Creed's EDP's have a sneaky longevity. And typically demonstrate what Edmond Roudnitska called "olfactory efficiency". Not every scent should be artificially jacked up to 11 O'clock 😂. Classic Creed is simply more beautiful, and higher quality, than Parfums de Marly. Creed Bois du Portugal, one of their deeper scent profiles, performs amazingly. The direction Creed have taken since the sale is another matter. They seem to have adopted the same inferior house position as Parfums de Marly.

@@JT-rx1eo first using emotes doesn’t bolster your argument. I am sorry but if I pay a lot of money I do not want the scent to disappear after an hour. Yes Creed used to be creative but my point is that you shouldn’t live on your laurels - last time they produced something of worth was 2011 with Royal Oud. I am sorry but if you use Oud as an ingredient your fragrance should last past 2 hours. I am listening to your argument which basically boils down to - Creed produced sublime scents in the past so they are amazing! Where is the current innovation, also fashion changes and fashion in fragrance changes - fougere colones used to be one of the top sellers, now they are replaced by sweeter leaning smells (amber, vanilla etc). Bois du Portugal for example smells like 1 old person in best case scenario or worst case scenario - moth balls.

Giorgio AND Armani? Paco AND Rabanne? How long are you in the fragrance game mate? YSL is not a house that focusses on ''mainstream kinda fragrances''. Only 'Y' and black opium (pour femme), but they're known for creating very unique and bolt fragrances from Kouros and Opium pour homme in the past to the Le Vestiaire collection. You are only focussing on mainstream fragrances from each house. I would suggest to read more into fragrance houses before making videos like this.
