Why is wjsn apart of this lineup? Lol they debut way before ioi and she was just added to the group during the ending of ioi’s so it’s not like she was already set to debut with them before joining produce 101. WJSN is not a post produce group.

Would the same apply to DIA because they debuted before produce even started? Yeonjung is a part of WJSN and has been for almost the entirety of their career. Whether she was added later or not she’s still apart of WJSN, therefore WJSN is a “post-produce” group or as I consider it a “post-ioi” group.

@@erinreimers 1/4 A post produce group is a group debuting and will use the help of popularity through produce shows to promote that produce member and new group. WJSN debut before ioi and Yeonjung was actually never supposed to debut with wjsn. It wasn’t until she was considering leaving starship that they added her. This information is thank to the radio, Korean newspapers and some Korean fans. When ioi members were discussing plans after ioi, she wasn’t sure of what she was going to do as starship had just debut wjsn and they weren’t debuting anyone else (group or soloist) that quick. I think one of the members told her to stay and consider joining wjsn. She was added but if you look at wjsn concept you can see how they squeezed her in to fit the concept and changes things around . I also think starship just didn’t want to lose a valuable trainee/idol.

@@erinreimers 2/4 WJSN’s concept, their concept is everything to do with space and a bit astrology. Each member represent zodiacs and symbolizes a different star. There are 12 astrology signs and each member represents a different sign despite them being a different zodiac due to their real birthdays. Yeonjung sign is Ophiucus and that zodiac is rarely used but they used it for her since zodiacs are apart of wjsn and all members have one. Also look at the subunits they had with their names- Wonder Sweet Joy and Natural. The members are equally divided into those units, 3 in each, 1 rapper, 1 vocalist and 1 dancer but when Yeonjung was added she was added to natural making a 4th member in a 3 members subunit. Edit: they stop going by those subunits, they never really went through with it as official and promotional wise. we may never know why either but they started using Greek subunits and then now official subunits which Yeonjung or Dawon aren’t in one. We have our theories on why and we also think Dawon was suppose to be in WJSN the black subunit since wjsntb + Dawon as they promoting as a dance unit for the longest at their concerts/mini concerts/ fan club concerts or whatever you wanna call it. But that would’ve left Yeonjung without a subunit ? So in a way I guess leaving Dawon out and making Dawon and Yeonjung a vocal sub is perfect for the two.

@@erinreimers 3/4 As for DIA, the same applies for them. they aren’t a post produce group. They debuted way before ioi, they debut in 2015, 1 month before produce 101 was announced to be a survival show. They filmed in January for the show and one of the DIA members temporarily withdrew from the group to promote for pd101 ..that part is a bit confusing so I guess in a way I guess you can consider them a post produce group but they really aren’t one if we’re being technical. Also I do want to clarify in no way, shape or form am I coming for Yeonjung because i’ve been a ujung since the beginning(ot13 til the end and I can’t imagine wjsn without a member especially Yeonjung but ) all members were revealed in the beginning except Yeonjung. wjsn wasn’t even suppose to be a 12 members group originally they were supposed to be 8 or something like that one of the members confirmed it so a lot of stuff was suppose to be different for them.
