Ranking Skylanders Magic Items - Portalmaster Ranks

Hey there guys! I'm back with another ranking video, and this time, it's one that several people suggested. This was a hard list to make sense I never really used the magic items when playing the games so I had to try my best to come up with a coherent ranking setup. Anvil Rain is a lifesaver in Double Trouble's heroic challenge. It takes out every enemy without breaking a single vase or painting.

the same applies for the adventure pack items, without those, double troubles heroic challenge is impossible with characters like eruptor and zook

@@Obsidian8R I wouldn't say impossible, I did it with Eruptor in Spyro's Adventure on the Xbox 360, where you just can't use any magic items during heroic challenges, though I did it before any upgrades, same with Drobot, Zap, and Terrafin's heroic challenges(The ones that you probably don't want your attacks to have a big area of effect for).

@@AdmiredKA Yes, they function as normal Skylanders, but are "3x more powerful" in Trap Team, SuperChargers, and Imaginators.

Magic Items weren't always my favorite. They were cool but they didn't stick around in the game long enough. I liked it better on the 3DS versions where you spent gold to call them in as many time as you wanted.

mistakes were meant on this vid, a lot of side functionality from specific items was left out and the most effective way to grind gold is probably with the skydiamond in swapforce dincs you can get a fast shooting skylander like trigger happy to spawn tonnes of diamonds and pick them up with whatever skylander you want(in 2 player mode, otherwise it depends on your skylander i think)

Actually if I remember right Sparx produces Butterfly's that he eats on the homeworld making him double as an healing item. I just wish he had an appearance outside that item! Say, is there any reason why the Dragon Cannon and the Arkyean Crossbow aren't here?

Bro nice opening 🤣 Great video! I was waiting for this one! I used to keep a stack of elixirs on hand back in the day when things got heated. I definitely agree about the Hidden Treasure, love that one, and the sculpt is sick. I never played Super Chargers but I’m going to pick it up on eBay to play through it. I would definitely like to see you rank the super chargers so I have an idea of which would be good to pick up. I’m probably going to just get one for each of the three vehicle types, based solely on appearance I’m leaning towards Spit Fire, Storm Blade and Splat, so I’m curious to see where you would place them on the ranking. Keep up the good work PM 💪🏼

Interesting how you didn't mention that when Sparx defeats an enemy, it spawns a butterfly that heals you.

for the hidden treasure, there is no argument especially since there was a glitch in the first game that if you opened it in the hub world and talked to an NPC, it would respawn immediatly and you could open it again, its the fastest way of getting money in the first game. also, i dont think they knew how to patch it in giants so they outright removed it from being used in the hubworld altogether.

Great video! But I'd rank Groove Machine higher. It comes with the Swap Force Sheep Wreck Island adventure pack, and is a great way to buy time if you're having trouble with all the Cyclops in the four Level 16-20 "Vortex" survival arenas that come with the pack (at least if you don't already have a Time Twister handy).

Just so you know the best way to to get gold is a bit difficult you have to have Trap Team and chaos Brock's Arena completed go to the final stage and play chaos and use his Undead attack and when you're low on time switch back into Skylander you're playing as switch back into chaos then uses Magic attack. Do not take this serious this is just my opinion there's probably lots of spelling errors correct me in the comments

I actually would rank the Sky Diamond as #1 because of the insanely broken money glitch it can do with the training dummies in Swap Force. Its money glitch can even be doubled with CO-OP (2nd controller) because both players receive the same gold when one person picks up gold (basically two gold). With Trigger Happy's machine gun on the training dummy + Sky Diamond you can rack up 50,000 gold in 20 minutes by only holding the button. Absolutely broken! You should definitely look it up/try it!

I don’t have the sky diamond and for everything you said as to why it is good, I agree. But isn’t there an exploit you can do by just rapidly attacking the dummies in swap force to rack up an insane amount of gold? Also using the treasure cheat isn’t actually the fastest way to get money. I’m pretty sure using chomp chest and using his treasure seeker ability in chapter 1 over and over again is the fastest way

Sky Diamond in Swap Force would spawn 100 gold Diamonds when you did damage to the target dummies. I just used Trigger Hapy unlimited Turret And nearly crashed my game with it and maxed all my characters out when it came out XD
