I'm a 48 year old man from Soweto. Me and my dad visited Kraaipan many years ago when I was still a kid. All I remember are spiders all over the wall at night & I did not sleep at wall while my dad was snoring next to me. I also remember riding around in a big old bicycle. I can't remember whose bicycle it was. I'll search for videos to see what Kraaipan looks like now.

I really enjoy your videos & wish you would do more, but making that comment about John Steenhuisen being involved in cadre deployment with Roman Cabanac was a low blow & really untrue. I am very surprised that you would make a comment like that. If you'd done your research you would know that Roman is an attorney, a businessman & a podcaster who was appointed on merit, not because he was a cadre deployee. He happens to be an honest, competent, hard-working , intelligent & articulate man & the fact that John Steenhuisen got on with him is completely irrelevant. I would like to know who would employ someone who they didn't gel with, unless they only wanted to benefit from the person financially, like the ANC cadres would, I suppose. But please be fair & don't make unjustified jibes like that, just because it's the DA & they are always held to a higher standard than the rest of the corrupt parties. Apart from that, a most amusing & entertaining video.
