Honestly, I’m sure this video was really tricky to create because of anime rules, villain shenanigans like the possession you mentioned, and other weird situations. I think you did the best you possibly could to account for all of these factors, and put them to statistics as accurately as possible. Yup, he bodied Asuka/Alexis and Sora with the Machine Dragon Re-Volt Structure Deck that came on the shelves 6 days after the Asuka duel. (Though Yuri sneaked in Super Poly and taunted Asuka as he played it all like "OMFG I can't believe you really thought I didn't modify the deck! lol") But this is the only Deck he used that was not his own.

For those who don't know 5D's that well: Aporia has been incarnated into his three life stages (teen, adult, elder) for most of the series. Although they were given the names Lucciano/Lester, Placido/Primo and José/Jakob, they were still the same person - just in different stages of life existing at the same time. I think their scores should be taken into account in here because they had several battles with the signers and other characters.

If this was the case, and each added their scores to Aporia's, then Aporia would have an additional 10 duels, and with these scores his stats would look like this: Duels: 13 Wins: 5 Losses: 7 Draws: 0 DNFs: 1 this makes his percentage 38.46%, and his overall duel score 16. Still abysmal ratings, but at least its not literally 0. This also give Aporia 1st place for total duels amidst the 2nd wave antags.

Actually Lotten from the Crash Town arc of 5Ds had an FTK. He used a monster called Gatling Ogre whose effect allows the controller to send any number of spells/traps from their field to the GY. For each one sent, 800 damage is inflicted to the opponent. I think he pulled off summoning Gatling Ogre and sending 5 S/T twice? It might have been 3...but yeah there's one. I don't know of that part of the show was ever dubbed though

It's just that Leo only had time to play one card, Spirit Collapse, that cost half his LP. After the intrusion penalty AND this, he had 1000 LP, so that led us to the outcome we know. But Zarc had the kindness of letting Leo's Spell resolve. Imagine if he didn't. There'd be memes about endgame villain traps killing you in response to you breathing or about how "Leo literally didn't play". Side note: Weird ARC-V battle royale rules notwithstanding, isn't this a ZTK?

Its weird to think about 5Ds villains being so low, but I guess like...the show had such an emphasis on teams and teamwork that even the villains had teams. Rex had the Dark Signers, Apporia had his three parts and the meklord drones, and Z-One had his time travel task force guys.

I have really enjoyed these videos as they take something incredibly subjective and add some stats and facts to it. These are the reason why I have subscribed. My only question is that if possession counts, why doesn't Aporia's three forms count? I don't think it would have changed much overall so it's probably not a big deal. I'd actually like to see a look at how each villain performs within their duels. For instance, I would actually rank Yami Bakura higher as a duelist than Pegasus because although Pegasus won more duels, it's made clear in his duel with Yugi that his broken deck and millenium eye are a crutch that he needs to win. Bakura meanwhile, easily matched wits with Yugi on skill and cunning alone.

I was thinking the same thing. He gave him a 4:3 ratio. Off the top of my head those 4 wins should be against Yugi (through the tape), Kaiba (Duelist Kingdom), Bandit Keith (flashback), and some 4th time I can’t remember. Based on the system he used here, if that last win was from GX it should have counted as 2 wins, beating both Crowler and Bonaparte in one Duel.

I think Yuri was the Predaplant duelist, he would be one of my favs because that was the Yuya from the Fusion dimension. And instead of being an early villain, he was more of a later villain but not the final boss of the series.

@TGS Anime To those reading this 1 year after the video's release. I decided to tally up the score of his Bandit king Bakura form since they weren't included in the video. These results might not be completely accurate. Duels: 7 Wins: 18 Losses: 2 Draws: 1 DNF's: 2 Duel score: 53 New results for Bakura/Zorc Duels: 21 Wins: 25 Losses: 8 Draws: 1 DNF's: 3 Duel score: 68 So basically Bakura fucking blitzes every other villain from a statistical point of view.

I wouldn't count Zorc's fights as individual victories because Zorc himself was a piece in the shadow RPG game which was played between Y'Yugi and Y'Bakura, as were all the characters and monsters in the world of memories arc. That'd be like giving Yugi an individual victory for each monster he defeated while disguised as the Dark Magician when they first met Y'Bakura in the Duelist Kingdom arc.

For each show. I liked marik most being so memorible even with little duels it was great. Gx yubel i liked seeing how the duels went and all the damage done. 5ds don't know how but aporia made me cry when he died on the sub and loved how much story we got from his and his full life Zexal 96 as his card i love and a hidden darkness. Vrain was Yuri as he was so great and duels so much and if he had more duels early on he would be even greater like a evil aki and jaden mix and still rest until the end. Vrain I like bohmen more than ai as ai was sad seeing him go but bohmen was better development and just loved how he grew so much in character and deck as we saw him actually put in work battling.

But yeah Yuri was super great even with the bad pace of arc v as he wa pushed back so many times yet still did so much in a short time ans he was like a Yuugo(fusion) of Aki and Jaden being alone and plant based in duel academy and wish we had him duel more ealry on as synchro who i enjoyed at the end was wasted potential as season one was perfect set up taking out the boring cast and focus in on a small cast but didn't use it right after that but season one was great Also my niece loved arc v being young and arc v being the most fun looking so that's extra points to get new anime fans But also the 5ds enemeis I loved overall as dark signers and signers was a great main first group battles whike wishing zone one and his group did more

@@ivanbluecool yh overall without any rose tinted glasses i would say yuri is the best but with the pacing issue it is present in all the shows now i have only watch DM arc v gx most of zexal and some of 5ds and a episode or 2 or vrains but DM is slow paced the duel length and the filler in gx season 2 they drop the society for the gx tourney they have a random filler episode in season 1 ect and in arc v its everywhere its a shame cause i think arv v could of been the best season 1 was strong season 2 was amazing but i remember after z-arc thinking what they going to do for like 15 episodes and for me the ending was a bit underwhelming also the professor was a massive let down for a villian espically has he was shown to be a feared person also wished declan would of had more duels felt if he did people would put him in with zane jack and kiba

Original is original so a complaint I'll make will be taking the flow away from battle city with a filler arc in between which really ruins it in the rewatched with hyoe on the final duels. Gx was all the mystical stuff happening on one island and would have been nice to see he gang go off island to duel in other places and while traveling they then run into trouble that way 5ds I felt has the best start as it starts slow in a good way for yusie to duel but as it goes we see how much yusie speeds up in summons. Only problem was Aki getting axed by crow and Carly's va issues but the filler was great as it had a purpose of showing us the world of neo domino city and it's people Zexal would say Tori and yumas friends as his rivals were better and being a remake of original in many regards and rather it didn't copy so much Arc v I'll say season 2 and after that using legacy characters o fill in the cast up to kite who just had his series finish before and really ruining the ride overall. But Yuri was the best thing that happened to actually get work done and a troll like vector. Season one will be a great example of removing the bad cast like 5ds yusie leaving his boring friends for the signers and Aki Vrains worst part is the cast and little danger outside world. Blue angel ad go were so wasted as go was boring and a wall rather than character who cared about kids and angel lost so much she wasn't interesting down the line. Revolver soulburner and Spectre were the best cast to be with yusaku. But overall 5ds is my favorite for not being so open ended compared to the rest and being an opening to new possibilities even back the

There's a few of these villains that I remember having some pretty absurd dueling moments. There was Sartorius's "0-Turn Kill" where he OTK'd his opponent on THEIR first turn before having a turn himself. There was Z-ARC's ridiculous final duel where he beat 8 people one after another without the duel ending. There was Don Thousand's insanely named monster "Chaos Imaginary Number 1000 Numeronius Numberonia" who was Rank 13 with 10k ATK and DEF that basically one-shots people every turn while massively bloating his Life Points. And my personal favorite, the duel between Aporia and Z-ONE where Aporia tried to use Heart of the Cards and Z-ONE said "lolnope" and completely broke his final gamble.
