The weirdest thing about The Boogeyman was that he was brought in on the New Talent Initiative on Smackdown by the UPN network in storyline, because he was from a children's show that was picked up by the network and canceled after seeing the pilot. Can you imagine a Boogeyman led kids show, a la Firefly Funhouse?

Whenever I hear of these supernatural gimmicks, I think of Randy Orton. That Viper gimmick is obviously some mythical creature shid. I was 12 when Boogeyman bit of and ate Jillian's mole and even now at almost 30, I loved that moment. I loved Boogeyman and yes I did pop when he returned for a guest appearance in the Royal Rumble. I'd put him higher than good, but I'm glad he's getting some praise!

What they should have done with the fiend was to make it so he didnt win it because he wanted it for himself but he didnt want anyone else to have it because he wanted everyone to follow him and not follow the belt. Could have made it so he didnt even care about the belt after he won it, that he locked it away and it was kept off of tv until it was time for him to defend it.

I dislike SN gimmicks mainly because they usually don’t perform well in ring. The out of ring stuff is usually great but think of like Wyatt. His character work is hall of fame but he rarely puts on good matches because he focuses too much on the gimmick. His eater of worlds gimmick was really what he should have stuck with cause he actually put on great matches while keeping the gimmick aspect alive. The fiend didn’t really have a great in ring style and the matches started to deteriorate and now we have current Wyatt which is pretty bad.
