Season 6 & 7 definitely have the best characters in terms of newbies, each of them serves their roles well and left major impacts on the audiences minds.

I like how you gave a short background to the basis of the engines. Really great video overall! My top 3 gotta be Murdoch, Arthur, and Spencer. I remember being scared of whenever Murdoch’s angry face stared directly at the camera in Peace and Quiet as a little kid lol 😂

My Controversial YET Interesting Personal Ranking: Number 8: Murdoch: Don't get me wrong, Murdoch isn't all bad, but there's just not much to his character sometimes. Number 7: Fergus: Great Character, but didn't appear as much, for obvious & understandable reasons. Number 6: Elizabeth: She & Thomas have a great dynamic & rivalry. Number 5: Harvey: Wasted Character in his debut season, but still great. Number 4: Salty: A BRILLANT diesel character! Glad we saw more of him. Number 3: Arthur: Wished we could have seen more of him. He's SPOTLESSLY GREAT! Number 2: Spencer: Yes, I know, I'm sorry, but Spencer's NOT Number 1, HOWEVER, I agree, He is a SUPERB ANTAGINOST & A BRILLIANT RIVAL FOR GORDON FOR SURE! & Number 1: & THE MOST CONTROVERSIAL PLACEMENT: Emily: YES, I THINK EMILY IS AN UNDERAPPRECIATED CHARACTER! But, in all seriousness, I really love Emily. I don't like how HIT made her bossy for no reason, but I'm glad she didn't always have it. Plus, how they put her in the main cast was really well done.

The only reason I remember Elizabeth as a character is because of her theme. After all, it was my first exposure to the Harpsichord. Not to mention her debut episode is the only time in the series as a whole that uses a Harpsichord in any piece of music.

I meant tv exclusive characters. Mavis, Daisy, and other female characters are pulled from the Railway Series. Plus, they were really just side characters.

Murdoch is my literal favorite character of all time. He’s relatable, has one of the coolest basis’s of all time, and is overall just an amazing character overall. DEFINITELY SS Tier in my opinion.

Harvey is genuinely my favorite because of mainly his design, and even though his introduction episode’s moral is kinda forced, it is inspiring to people like me, for personal matters. I love Elizabeth so much too. As terrible as Rusty Saves The Day is, Elizabeth is the one saving grace of it, along with Rusty’s characterization.

Even though that Murdoch spoke in 3 episode I still like this character and I love him in excellent Emily I think that it has potential Murdoch and Emily's dynamic

now as Spencer being my favorite character he definitely deserves S tier in my book. I use him in sodor online more than any other engine. some people may say it would have been a waste of robux but I would tell them "it was like 60 robux that's like 6 pennies that is way underprice and I F***ing love A4 pacific locomotives that cost 6 cents."

ok b tier Murdoch I have to disagree on the other hand way underrated he's relatable yet he is also has parts that might not be relatable showing things we all have in common yet also a side we might want to be. his design his so unique his toys are always the same size as others showing his parts smaller than what they are and leave something to be desired when seen and he is just straight up awesome so I say re rank him as A tier

7:06 honestly Thomas was out of character in my opinion, he shouldn’t be this way anymore his character had been growing each season and at this point in time shouldn’t be this childish anymore, plus he didn’t even have a motive for wanting to trick arthur he just did for no reason.

I was a little surprised when you gave that my little pony reference, geez, I wonder how many Thomas fans are fans of My Little Pony. All include myself in one of those numbers because I’m also a my little pony fan.

I end up liking my little pony too but mainly that generation, friendship is magic (my favourite character is Spike, but not all the episodes with him anyways), which is now my favourite show followed by the Big Bang theory, seasons 1 to 5 of Max & Ruby, the Backyardigans, Veggietales (forty episodes counting two movies and three compilations) and the penguins of Madagascar. While also liking certain Walt Disney, other Disney related stuff, and Pixar movies too including all three of the cars movies (I don’t care what people say about 2 with the spy cars) and all three of the lion king movies. Also I thought of using the Thomas vehicle characters that have been wooden trains (along with a take n play and two ertls) up to Frieda, Gina, Vinnie, Ashima, Yong Bao and Hugo and also Stefano too as characters from my little pony friendship is magic, Max & Ruby (seasons 1 to 5), the Backyardigans and Veggietales which are mainly Spike from my little pony friendship is magic which I used Salty as, Max, Morris and the toys from seasons 1 to 5 from Max & Ruby, nearly all the Backyardigans characters and twenty-three characters from Veggietales, which I use the narrow-gauge characters as the Veggietales ones.

I agree with S tier Arthur he is way underrated and should of appeared in cgi and when I look back on my wooden railway days I wish I had Arthur there was even a time I saw a track master Arthur at a Walmart when I was 4 which was odd because where I live it was so rare to even see a track master narrow gauge engine or even a tomy thomas

My ranking (in numbers) would be: 8 Murdoch 7 Emily 6 Harvey 5 Spencer 4 Elizabeth 3 Fergus 2 Salty 1 Arthur Mostly because some are easily forgotten so I rank them to be the greatest and I liked the wooden trains of them and their depiction on the front covers of the wooden railway yearbooks (which goes for Elizabeth, Spencer, Arthur and Fergus) just because I’m thinking that they’re the main new friends characters for those yearbooks too. Also I basically like all the train and other vehicle characters (that were wooden trains including the railway series only characters and Sodor story collection along with a take n play and two ertls) up to Frieda, Gina, Vinnie, Ashima, Yong Bao and Hugo and also Stephano. But if any of the characters are my favourite, it will be Salty, Thomas, Percy, Oliver, Arthur Fergus, Whiff, Rosie, Boco, Annie and Clarabel, Scruffy, Toad, Bertie, Terence, Bulgy, Bulstrode, Lorries 1 2 and 3 and Jeremy.
