I know kids gonna talk about 14-16 being disrespected, but truth is, 08 is the disrespected one, 08 was the turning point from a shitty football game to what it is right now, the PES killer, the beggining of a monopoly.

@@mr.g6758 I grabbed it on Game Pass and player career mode just crashes at end of season. So you literally can't even play it beyond a single season. EA is such a trash fire and they don't care because Ultimate is their money printing machine.

I started with FIFA 1994..then 96 and 99. The first one I played competitively was FIFA 2007, after Ovvy dominated FIFA 06

in the early times Fifa 99 was best, in the middle times Fifa 13 and Fifa 15 was best (I was undecided between the two, so I wrote both), in the recent times Fifa 22 is best

Nah it was definitely good especially compared to some newer fifas. But it wasn’t as great as some other titles. I don’t think it is on the same tier as 08 and 12. It’s closer to 14’.

I agree with 17 but funny at 15 I would put as the pine. 14 was the first major change in feel and was off but decent, 15 they doubled down and it felt similar to this year where the gameplay was mudded. I can 100% understand why you remember it well. Also, pre-Fifa10 I played PES as it was just better than Fifa in the 2000s. 2009 was the first year EA caught up. Crazy to think how far ahead they are now.

I had so much fun with FIFA 15... It was a faster paced / skill move game... so if you didn't play into that spectrum I can also understand not loving it Lot of the older games were less simulation, but really enjoyable games to play imo

@@MikeLaBellethanks for the reply, this is why reminiscing is so interesting as I remember 14 and 15 as slow where as 11-13 were fast. The slower gameplay was part of what I remember negatively about 15. If it isn't obvious though, I'm an older gamer and I do notice that according to KZbin, I'm in the minority in regards to my memories of 15. Love the content, thanks!

FIFA 08 and then in the summer EA released UEFA Euro 2008 video game and the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions changed the football gaming landscape. The PS2 era was dominated by PES. But with the introduction of full 360 degree control movements in the Euro 2008 game, that shifted the balance in power from PES which they never really recovered from. Notnto mention PES 2008 is in contention to being one of the worst PES games alongside PES 2014. Konami fumbled two times with their launch into the next gen with the PS3/360 era and PS4/One era. Starting from FIFA 19 all the way up to FC24 are stinking trash. And I would say FIFA 12, 15 and 17 are the GOATs. Even FIFA 08 was beautiful too.

6:32 which version of FIFA 14 did you play though? Did you play the PS3/PC/Xbox 360 version? Because EA released a PS4/Xbox One version of FIFA 14 in early 2014 and that is regarded as one of the best games ever

I’m still playing fifa 22. Both eafc 23 and 24 have horrible gameplay. I think fifa 20, 21 and 22 are so underrated. I love fifa 15 just for the quick goals from centre kick. 1-2 from centre, over though ball then volley from striker and goal was so easy on fifa 15.

4:30 FIFA 10 that low? The PC version was not great as it had some of the old mechanics of the PS2 era games, but PS3/Xbox 360 version with the impact engine was great.

i agree those were the days and everything was just simple and i like fifa 97 with bergkamp on it and 02 04 05 and germany world cup 2006 and 06 07 08 09 and south africa world cup 2010 and 10 11 12 13 wasnt really a fan of 14 17 18 liked 19 and 20 just a bit but 21 22 23 could have been better 24 not that bad and never played 15 or 16 so cant really say much about fifa 15 and 16 and memories ♥️

I would rather play fifa 19 than ea fc , fifa 19 the gameplay was bad and that’s it, ea fc almost everything is wrong like gameplay, people teams being the same (Changing one player each two months) , stupid prices, untradeable packs and can’t make coins , issues every week like Messi toty were I face almost every game and they say not a lot of people packed him… The most pay to win fifa ever , same meta, can’t play football……. gameplay needs a lot of work during some of these patches, I like evos / women in the game... but the lack of market, trading, & then the game basically becoming all untradeable really hurt a major portion of the ultimate team experience imo
