Slight correction: Balteus's "theme" isn't actually Balteus's theme. It's actually Ayre and Raven's because it is called "Contact With You" and is reused in an improved way on Ayre's fight and her appearance on the final NG++ fight. So yeah it's not Balteus's theme.

Killing Carla is the smart move. Carla rockets have better tracking and delay so their harder to dodge. Especially when you’re not looking at her, and with cherries, high in mobility, pinning him down and beating the crap out of them becomes a bit of an issue while you have a suicidal heavy kicking you in the back of the head. Also Carla has no real keep away tool other than kicks and assault armor. Chatty is fast and has the burst boozkas. And will try his best to avoid you.

I just wish bosses were harder in this game. It's like From Soft decided to make it easy instead of it brutal like the previous AC games. But it's one of the few games that all the bosses are actually good & none of them weak. Each one feels like ot fits the narrative. But that being said I agree with the Smart Cleaner at the end with Rusty helping you. I didn't mind the boss there but it was in a bad spot in the mission. That being said. CEL 240 & Ayre gave me the most trouble. Every boss but them took 6 or less tries. I love Ayre so disagree with you about her. I hated that ending but that route has my favorite missions. Especially love that mission you fight Rusty in his Alba frame.

Its quite scary how good from bosses can be i mean they made some misssteps with er with the ganks (but also not really because u have so many outside of the box options, example putting the godskin to sleep and so on). Not many series can compete with froms boss design

I'm disappointed to see how little focus the bosses of this game has gotten, so its great to see a boss ranking. I really love most of the fights in this game so even my least favorites I still think are great. I gotta say that I would put ephemera a bit higher but I also just really liked the rush of it. my favorite is definitely cel 240 though.

Ayre and ALLMIND are the toughest fights for me, though it was super funny to dunk on Iguazu once more, was told there is a similar character in project wingman so I got to play that game. I gotta play some of the other Armored core games sometime, probably will start with AC4 if I can find my old xbox 360.

Balteus took me 2hours in ng, and i beat him first try in ng+.. that really shows the skill inscrease and that hesitation is defeat here

I brought a pulse gun to fight him the moment I saw that he has a shield. And I beat him in less then 30 minutes. And in NG+ and NG++ there's just so many powerful weapons that he feels just powercrept. Coral and plasma weapons (especially multi-energy rifle) beat the shit out of him very fast😁

Fun fact: when I fought Raven during dam defence I accidently oneshoted him immediately as he arrived after I defeated second AC😅 I won't make all top of bosses but top 5 looks like that: 5) Ice worm (cinematism of this fight and tons of amazing voice lines of Rusty and Michigan) 4) Balteus (the most iconic boss of the game) 3) Allmind (my favorite ending boss from theme perspective) 2) Ayre (my favorite ending boss from pure fight perspective; one of my favorite characters, and I like her voice very much) 1) CEL 240 (I fought him for 2 hours not because I couldn't beat him but just because I wanted to fight him more, best dance parther ever)

@@firstorderblade4432 in terms of bossfight he is not so different then other AC battles. Just with coral weapons. Thematically it is good...but still the weakest of all 3 ending bosses for me.

I think he has the best moveset of all the ac bosses because you can’t just tank hid damage, you have to actually dodge everything, maybe just me though @@Sargatas

I would have added Michigan Liger Tail boss fight from "Intercept the Redguns". It was the only mission which I restarted several times because I spend all my ammo. Plus Micigan's comments are icing on the cake.

You’re right, since he’s the Redguns leader I probably should’ve included him. I’d probably put him just above Freud, since like you said, Michigan’s dialogue is really great and the fight’s a good endurance test

@@badaboombi Yeah, it can sometimes be hard to change the way you typically act. It feels wrong in a way. Also nice video btw, But my number 1 boss fight is 100% Ayre, for all the reasons that you actually stated lol.
