ranking the first stages of chuang 2021

Something I really like about chuang this year is that the cute/sweet stages don't feel less good or impactful than the dark/sexy ones. Like, yes, I think about as a monster all the time, but i joyfully like you is equally stuck in my head. I made my list based on how much i enjoyed the performances personally :D my personal list is like: 1. ai you ready trainee who stood out the most: Huizai, Wang Xiaochen 2. loverboy88 trainee who stood out the most: Lin Mo, Hiroto 3. darling trainee who stood out the most: Eisho, Ichika 4. butterfly trainee who stood out the most: Bo Yuan 5. lit trainee who stood out the most: Rikimaru, Liu Yu 6. i joyfully like you trainee who stood out the most: Dai Shaodong, Rong Yao 7. as a monster trainee who stood out the most: Hu Yetao 8. girl trainee who stood out the most: Yu Gengyin 9. yummy trainee who stood out the most: Santa, Chen Ruifeng 10. cocoon break trainee who stood out the most: Jing Long 11. football gang trainee who stood out the most: He Yifan 12. jui kuen trainee who stood out the most: Qian Zhengyu, He Yijun 13. radio trainee who stood out the most: Oscar, Zhou Keyu 14. me! trainee who stood out the most: Qu Boyu NOTE: i didn't rank by how well each group did, because then radio would be much higher. I think football gang and radio both did very well but i dislike both songs, so there was a good chunk of the enjoyment factor taken out of it for me. On the other hand, darling and ai you ready are such good songs, and I think they were pulled off quite well, so though they weren't the best performances, I had a high enjoyment level watching them. Loverboy88 is both an impressive performance and really fun - I love Jiayuan soooo much, and his improvement was really clear.

Radio and Girl were really my fave Girl really took me back to IP so much and radio was really beautiful no one really stood out to me bc they all really shined and everyone had a killing line that made me remember them so def fave ❣️

For me, my dream team (11) is Patrick, Nine, Rikimaru, Hiroto, Lin Mo, Liu Yu, Zhou Keyu, Wu Yuheng, Oscar, Liu Zhang, and Hu Yetao. I loved Santa, but felt he will do better as a Solo Artist. I loved Mika and Kazuma, but felt they will continue to do well as Intersection band now that they have built up a larger fanbase. Mika and Kazuma are stiff in dancing so why make them suffer as an idol boy bander? I rather them stick to what they do best which is just singing. Ren Yinpeng and Zhang Jiayuan are already successful in their instrumental band so I didn't feel the need to include them in the boy group lineup. Their dancing is also just ok. Just my opinion as an Asian pop idol fan. Insert prayer emoji here.

Glad to see Lover Boy 88 because that's my top pick as well! Zhang Xingte caught my attention with his vocal line and I feel like he's overlooked sometimes.

i remember watching your videos on ipd 1 & 2 back when they aired. glad to see u making videos about chuang too. these 3 shows are the only reality shows i am watching/have watched. lover boy 88 & girl also made to my top3. just the whole vibe of the performance able to make me feel happy & i keep coming back to their videos. and jing long being the highlight of cocoonbreak is something i agree too.

Mine is based on overall vocals then dancing because they were all different in their own way. I don’t think one performance was better than the other because each one was missing something another performance had. So the rankings in vocals to me personally where 1. Radio 2. Darling 3. Lit Anything below here I would consider the same rank but some where a little better than the others also these below are not in order except the rank number 4. Cocoon and Girl 5. Lover 88 and yummy and butterfly and joyfully 6. Jui and Me! And Monster and Football and ready They weren’t bad just their were better vocals in a group that sounded better than others and the song also played a part in vocals too. I don’t know if I got all of them all and I was gonna make a dancing rank but it’s too complicated so yeah my own personal opinion

ooh this is interesting! yes, the ranking really depends on what you focus on so that’s why i rly like to see opinions like these. for me, the biggest part i take into consideration is memorability opposed to the best vocals and dance. (which has a lot to do with memorability 99% of the time.) like for idol producer, basically everyone would rank xiao ban stage as number one. it’s so iconic yet they didn’t even dance though it still makes everybody’s number one.
