I agree. I prefer CAS acrylic in general it feels sturdier though admittedly at times their dimensions can be off, I have many CAS and there’s a bunch where there may be like a inch between the blister and the front of the acrylic where one from the same back will have the blister almost touching the acrylic lol AFA is great but the acrylic is more flexible and scratches really easily it just doesn’t feel as protected. My 2 cents

Massively agree, I tend to use UKG coz based in UK but I have noticed the unclean seems and it bothers me a little, looks a bit unfinished imo

Great video! Do you know if the dimensions for the standard cases between AFA and CAS are exactly the same? It appears at least the height is the same. I’ve only used AFA for MOCs and have my first CAS MOCs being graded now and would like to make sure when displayed next to each other there is virtually no difference between the two (because I am an OCD-ridden psychopath).

Yes they are more or less the same unless it is a MOC with a wider blister that requires a deeper case. But the heights are no different really. Thanks Brett for foe watching, and I hope all is well.

What are the Museum cases from CAS? Any difference between those are their regular

Yes they are thicker and 99% UV resistant. They are akin to the "Archival" cases from AFA.

@@atonewiththeforce3403 For all 3 companies' standard cases, I believe that they are about 67% UV resistant. I am only going on memory, so don't quote me on that.

CAS offers Signature Series grading where they authenticate the signature for about $35 and then grade the actual item at standard cost. You can see examples on their website!
