Dude yes! I miss 15 days of foundation, such a good series. I’m glad she stopped for the sake of her health and isn’t stressing over it anymore but omg Taylor taught me so much about skin type and foundation finishes and techniques! My base routine honestly came such a long way and completely evolved because of her. Angi’s overview video with all these foundations absolutely radiates all the nostalgic vibes!

I’m so happy that as a combo skin person you’re talking about light weight foundation. It seems like every foundation recommendation on YT for oily skin is THICK, FULL COVERAGE matte foundation and I’ve found that for my oily skin the more foundation that’s on my skin, the worse it looks when, inevitably it breaks down and my oil comes through-because it always does (unless I have danessa myricks blurring balm powder in universal on). For years I thought it was me, and something I did wrong until I started wearing fenty ease drop or even salt NY sneaky balm which is more radiant but didn’t make me look cakey and like a melting wax model when it finally broke down. So THANK YOU for being someone who likes a more natural, matte!! It’s so rare to find in the oily skin community.

I absolutely LOVE your foundation favorite videos! You give all the information I need and I’m not even your skin type! That’s the mark of someone who really knows what they are talking about AND thinks about EVERYONE, not just people who have the exact same specifications as you! I trust your reviews!❤

No to all sticky foundations! I’m a dry girl and I can’t stand the feeling of unset foundations. And I feel like they don’t last as long as set ones do. My favorite foundation right now is the Catrice True Skin one, it’s semi matte and gorgeous! The old KVD lock-it matte foundation was also a favorite for a long time and I really want to try the new one, it sounds interesting!

Yes! Revlon ColorStay is such an amazing foundation! That's the formula that showed me I shouldn't have to blot or touch up throughout the day. It just looks perfect for hours. 👌🏻 I also get a similar result from the L'Oreal Fresh Wear. Both incredible drugstore options!

Revlon and Neutrogena makes wonderful foundations. Years ago I used Neutrogena foundation (in a glass bottle) and it made my skin flawless for a whole day. I didn't buy it again, because I haven't found my perfect match and it became more difficult to find at all.

I so appreciate your comprehensive take on things. Also, I forgot to comment on last video where people made unkind and ridiculous comments about your accent, choice of husband etc......How rude. We live in such a weird time that people feel like they know you because they follow you and feel comfortable making hurtful and not constructive comments. People become very "brave" when they don't have to say something to someone's face. Considering you do not really speak about your private life makes it even weirder and ruder. Glad you address it in a non emotional way. It isn't worth wasting your energy!!!

I love these videos, totally seconding what that other person said who told you that your foundation videos help so much though we have different skin types! I have dry skin but I know what will probably work best for me because of how you describe the interactions of these products with your skin type. It’s so good to hear someone who knows what they’re talking about when it comes to foundation ❤ you’re the best Angi! Thank you for helping me with my own makeup routine, since finding you it’s only improved and I’ve learned more from you so far than my own makeup tutor in my beauty school 😂 keep radiating that light of yours ❤

Love this! I love the way you describe each foundation, so you know if it might work for you even if you do not have the same skin type (I have very dry skin). I am looking forward to trying the tinted sunscreen too. My favorite for a few years now is the ULTA Spf 30 tinted mineral sunscreen. It is extremely blurring. You might love it because it is a matte finish. Great for no foundati0on, hot days! It is the best one I have found!

I never tried the Dream Matte Mousse when it was first popular. I remember holding the lightest shade in my hand about to buy it, but I put it down because I realised it would be too dark and I thought it was too much money to use on something that was too dark anyways. I’ve been very curious about it as of late, and I am definitely going to pick it up if I can find the right shade.

Revlon has such a great shade range (undertone-wise) too - it was first drugstore brand that had olive undertone tinted foundation in my country like what is there to hate and they are also mindful of skin type. I love Revlon only if they returned to my country 🤗 Jones road foundation is such a gimick I want to try it just for giggles and fun. Same goes for Gucci like I went to check their shade range and they have quite a big one but when I saw lightest shade 😬 if I can expect it to oxidize on my then nope. That is such a flop for luxury house brand - I mean I totally forgot foundation can oxidize in the year 2023 because the last time I remember such a thing happening was 2017? Thanks for review I love this type of videos ❤ have a great day. Bye

thank you so much for your detailed recommendations. i can’t even tell you how much i appreciate this video. i personally don’t like to wear anything heavier than a light medium foundation, because i don’t like anything heavy on my skin, and i live in a severely humid climate. i already have the neutrogena on its way to me. i want to try the revlon because i’ve heard allie rave about it for a while now, and now you’re also recommending it as well, but my issue is trying to shade match myself online. how can i do that successfully???

That KVD breaks up sooooo bad on my oily skin. Found the same as Angie, its amazing on initial application but at 4 hours I am desperately trying to save it but its a loosing battle. I can get max 8 hours but really looking crappy at 6 hours. Pretty sad about it. I feel like the new Juvia's place has a similar look with waayy better longevity. That one is probably my 2nd fave after the revlon colorstay mentioned here.

My nose is the only place i get oily on my entire body, like i could never wash my hair again and it would still be dry lmfao. Anyway, around my nostrils in the creases it's so crusty and dry no matter what i use under my foundation. It always looks so cakey, cracked and dry, but my actual nose will get oily and i wear glasses so i will get like a slippery foundation sludge where my glasses sit lmao.
