I personally think its pretty average, but mostly because I have seen it so many times over the years that the humor just got old after the 20th time watching it. That and A Christmas Story (my personal most hated movie) just are overplayed on TV. Especially since A Christmas Story is played on repeat for a full 24 hours straight on Christmas eve.

I can’t let this stand: If Home Alone is a Christmas Movie, then Die Hard is a Christmas Movie, full stop. Both Die Hard & Home Alone happen on or around Christmas, but it could happen on ANY holiday/holiday party. Home Alone could EASILY happen over Thanksgiving/Easter/Summer Break. Die Hard could happen at any work party. It just so happens that they both are primarily set around Christmas, therefore they are Christmas movies. Thank you for coming to my TED talk.

I would argue that Nightmare Before Christmas is more of a Christmas movie than a Halloween movie. Yes, it features Halloween characters, but the movie is focused on them doing Christmas things. Also, Die Hard is definitely a christmas movie. Not even saying that to piss off Zach. It's just definitely a christmas movie. It's about a guy trying to see his family for the holidays. It just so happens that he has to stop terrorists to do so.

It’s about both. Moreso, about the “spirit of Christmas” and goodwill toward men. The spirit of Hanukah is about how God made a lamp last longer than it should have. Also Christmas is a more important feast to Christians (Birth of the Savior of mankind) than Hanukah is important for Jews (it’s a minor holiday for them). So 8 Crazy Nights takes place over the course of Hanukah, but it’s more of a Chanukah (Christmas/Hanukah blend) of a movie.

I was willing to let it go when Bryce kept saying things were “white” like being white is bad because joking but then he ACTUALLY threw a fit and put Miracle on 34th Street on F tier without watching because the people in the movie were “too white” even though Zac and Jimmy said the movie was sweet. rudolph the rednosed reindeer is such a good movie. my mom even has the whole christmas display of them that lights up and shit. she usualy pulls it out and used to put it in the china cabnet with this white cotton stuff. now these days she dosent do that anymore and puts it in the lil tv stand thing (so she can lock it and keep kids out of it so they wont break and choke on something)
