​@@neru5839 Kira had motives and had tons of chapters just with him, Toru had like 1 or 2 chapter that focuses on him, Kira had a lot. also what was torus motive money ???? edit: also Kira was first seen in 334 chapter and last saw in 439, that is 100 chapters, he was not in all but he was for a lot of them.(also just want to say I do really like part 8 a lot just not Toru)

@@slap1618 Josuke and Tooru both essentially came from the dirt. They were born from the ground, with zero sense of identity. Tooru is what Josuke could have been. Tooru, like Josuke, had no maternal figure, and he was bitter about it. Rock Humans have no ability to empathize, and although neither had a maternal figure, Josuke decided to accept that fact, while Tooru clung to the fact that he viewed the wasps that raised him as his maternal figures up until the day he died, bitter and angry. Tooru's goal wasn't wealth. Rock Humans cannot reproduce, and Tooru wants to leave a legacy, a mark on the world. The only way he could have done that, at least in his eyes, was through wealth. That ties into the theme of memories that Jojolion has. Tooru cares only for his legacy, the memories that remain after he's gone, while Josuke has learned to move past those memories and make new ones with his new family. Tooru suffered from rejection and abandonment, and Josuke found acceptance.
