VB looks like a lot of fun. Ignore the reviews online. Most of them are fake because so many are still butthurt that Wet 'n' wild closed. Well, it's not Universal's fault that the previous park went bankrupt. If anything, these WW fans should be GLAD they can still go to a waterpark. Universal could have paved over everything and just turned it into a parking lot or spot for another Loews-run hotel but they built a new waterpark instead.

I think blizzard beach looks cooler to me because of the theming, but that's your opinion. blizzard beach also opened 1995 (even before animal kingdom!) and volcano bay opened in 2017 LOL. i think volcano bay may have more, but I like the theme of blizzard beach too.

I am thankful that they offer swim suits for kids. As a parent my toddler had to go potty and we had to wait in line for the potty. Well most toddlers havent mastered the hold it for extended period of time. I ended up stripping him (then cleaning him) and just tossing his suit and carrying him wrapped in a towel to the store to purchase a new suit. This happened at one of our local water parks not in Florida but it was a life saver.

I think the water parks are great for people that come for a week plus. It gives you time to relax and recover from visiting the park. I went to Typhoon lagoon in dec 2019 and that day was my favorite day. I didn’t do any slides I just did wave pool and lazy river- I really just slowed down and relaxed.

This was a valuable video for our family. We’ve never been to any of the water parks. This video has added them to our next visit. Leaning toward Volcano Bay.

I hate water parks. I agree with all of your issues, and went to Volcano Bay because I couldn't just NOT do it... I didn't hate it. But it is still a water park. I wear glasses, so walking around, cold and blurry eyed, hauling tubes around... Not my idea of fun. Also the "lazy river" cut my knee because I was having too much fun 😂

I’m not big into water rides and such either. For me I don’t like getting my hair wet on water rides. Like if I’m in a pool or beach and know I’m there it’s one thing, but when I’m at theme parks I’m not big into getting wet cause my clothes and hair get soaked lol. I'm with Molly I hate water. Obviously since she was able to pass the "can you swim?" question well, Molly has spent time in the water. I can barely dog paddle and don't want to learn. My kids however were all water babies. They have their dad to thank for that.

You're telling me that you're wearing your street clothes and you WANT to be all soaked and uncomfortable for the next hour? I just don't get the appeal at ALL (I also particularly hate rides where you don't know ahead of time that you might get wet. If I get on a log flume, I know what I'm there for. But like, the Frozen ride at Disney sometimes gets you wet even though it's a ~children's dark ride~ and that is NOT ok lol)

You are NOT the only person that hates water parks. If I have to go to one I prefer the lazy river or wave pool. I don’t mind the slides I just hate the stairs and carrying the tubes and the damp everything grosses me out. I would rather sweat it out at a theme park any day over a water park.

They are different to me now that I am an adult and can wear what I want. There is something so weird walking around all day in basically nothing as a female. It's cool at a pool and ocean because you're generally near your stuff but walking up 200 steps with strangers is weird.

If you stay at Cabana Bay in the new tower, you can literally walk out of you hotel tower and cross a walkway to the front entrance of Volcano 🌋. It’s the best!!

I had to buy new swim shorts at Disney's water park once. I will tell you why. I had bought a suit at home obviously before I left home and when I went to the water park I went on a water slide and when I got off there were people staring at me while I was walking to the next one, I thought I was being paranoid but then my husband looked and realized that my shorts were completely see thru. I mean very see thru. So I had to go to the store at the water park and buy black shorts. So that was my experience of why I had to buy new bottoms and was glad they had them in the store. I think I had bought at home by mistake shorts that were a coverup not an actual suit. oops. LOL

Some of the rides at Volcano Bay have maori names, and have to say, your pronunciation is the BEST of any vlogger I’ve seen to date! 👍 Punga Racers nearly broke me when we were there, pretty sure I got an involuntary front tooth adjustment as I whacked my face when I landed (not gonna wins any points for skilful execution!)....Apart from that, we loved Volcano Bay 😊 I absolutely love your water park videos Molly, they’re hilarious 😂

About the swimsuit in the gift shops : Im guessing wardrobe malfunctions are always a possibility but I am sorry wearing a swimsuit without washing it first is a big no no for me ( I cringe enough when I have to try them on before buying them)

I’ve never actually bought a swimsuit at a water park but if your swimsuit broke or you’ve not worn it for a year, it might not fit. And if they sell swimsuits, they can ask people to change if they are wearing something too inappropriate or too revealing.

Fun fact: summit plummet is the second fastest attraction in all of the Disney parks TestTrack being the fastest. There are other ride meant to be faster in production at the moment

When I was a kid, like 11 or 12, my brand new swimsuit started disintegrating while I was in the wave pool and we were at the one place that didn't sell swim suits in the gift shop, but I wish they did.

As far as buying a swimsuit at the water park, done it. My dad wore jean shorts to a water park once and of course that is not going to work on the slides. He had to buy trunks. Another time my sisters strap on her top broke, so obviously needed a new top. Then not a swim suite but similar, I lost a sandal going down a slide and had to buy a new pair. So in reality it is best to actually always bring an extra suit and shoes.

Great video! I'm so glad you showed the grotto area of the Volcano Bay lazy river. That's my favorite lazy river of all that I've been on, and the grotto area has little blue lights that look like stars sparkling on the water! For my preferences, I like all the Universal parks better than the Disney parks. It feels like they try harder to make their attractions more special. But that's just my preference... to each their own. :)
