I agree with the placement of most of your rankings except one. I would switch Fount of Wisdom and Wielder of Magic because while Wielder of Magic is powerful, I don’t think it has staying power as it is an orange meta, of which there’s only been 3 or 4 in the entire game’s history, and fount of wisdom has so much more usage outside of its meta since the support units have powerful buffs that are not too specific. I would like to get albis as I still need an ex pierce giving unit and I couldn’t get aqua and kazuma, as I regret since they are still useful and might never come again, unless they have a collab redux banner during the idol master collab next month, but who knows. Wielder of magic hasn’t been here that long and uses an orb that doesnt get much usage, so I would honestly swap it with FoW meta in the rankings. Other than that I agree with your placements in the rankings, and it’s nice to see that it’s not just the stacking metas at the top, we’ve got a good blend of unusual teams, which is how the game should be. Now to see how the invincibility mechanic in the collab will shake things up, as it’s likely a green meta now.

Joker I remember that first Anni list and how at the beginning I was like yup water 2.0 100%.. the power creep is real! My one ranking which I don’t even really disagree with but just makes me disappointed is the Goddess of Destiny units, because I don’t have Treyni and only have Dark Millim from Koban I use them as my general Valor Cup team.. but being generally good doesn’t really mean much when the rest of the list hits how it does so it is what it is.. Water 2.0.. to Vengeance.. I look forward to this list next year!!

I would argue that Fhrey's team can go a lot higher. Fhrey, Hero2.0, Hero and shizu have been doing wonders for me in valor cup. Using it as a burst team I reliably made it into the top 50 with other teams struggeling due to the shitty starting hands recently (I don't have a triple orb stealer). On top she's the only ex prot of her kind, while diablo, light3.0,lumi,megmuru,velzard are pretty much the same kind. + : stacking shizus attack/skill points on a stage with no planned out nuke can be fun.

Fount of Wisdom luminous and masked heroes is good addition to team though for the fount of wisdom charater unit

Mr. Joker sir, I will in fact argue against vengeance being the best team in the game. "Best team" implies that the group as a whole is amazing and works wonders together. this isn't true. vengeance is absolutely the most overpowered stacking damage system in the game, but as far as full teams go it's synergy isn't there. I would say that individually, vengeance is the best without question. Youm, Raphael, and Velzard work wonders. I have vengeance Veldora (I needed to burn koban tickets) and I never use him on the team cause he's doing nothing for it. If we're talking the FULL META team, everything included than I'd say most stacking teams here have vengeance beat out in terms of team synergy. In conclusion, I believe that vengeance Youm, Raphael and Velzard are the best standalone units, as their full meta as a whole fell off the moment Shuna released. Those three are by far the best, but not when considering a meta as a whole. but that's just what I think

I'm saying that the vengeance team overall sucks compared to more synergized teams like 1.5 or 2nd anni. Vengeance is still by far the most powerful, and I never denied that. Raph, Youm and Vel are god tier units, without a doubt. But the overall viability of the team as a whole is worse in comparison to other metas. there's no viability in a meta team when half the team isn't viable by comparison

@@spike3021 My definition of best team was what I said before. the full team, and how well it works as one. if it's not the full meta making the best team, then it's not really the best team, but rather the best unit/units. That's what I'm saying. Also I wrote that original comment at like 1 or 2 am after I watched the full video, when I was super tired and getting ready for bed so idr wtf he said the criteria was for best team lol. Remembering something from half an hour ago at the time was just impossible for me

Great vid as usual! I was wondering, as someone who returned to the game but kinda late for anni, I missed my chance to farm for gems on the Luminous, Violet, and Rimuru banner, who would you recommend to use as Protection character in the team? I did not get Rimuru (Or Luminous anda can't get them before it ends) but I do have Blanc, Jaune and both Violets. Trying out this team since I won't be able to pull more for a while and only have very old units. (EDIT: Of the newer ones I got that are not release units are Light Shuna, Dark Veldora, Towa, the event Satoru and that's about it, but if there's one I can choose with the protection tickets, I'd appreciate it) Thanks!!

If you have the Light Shuna protector, shes generic enough to run this team. You just need to add the Light Raphael to the team for the stun and pierce buffs instead of the old violet.

Well vengeance team is something that most people will underestimate the meta since (no offense) some people prefer brute force instead of strategically using skills and hit them on turn 4 with the vengeance stacks
