For me it goes like this: 1- FighterZ 2- Kakarot 3- Xenoverse 2 4- Breakers 5- Xenoverse 1 And mind you, I have over 1K hours in XV2, but after 7 years of the same stuff (sweaty pvp, raids, DLC wave after another) it gets kinda boring. Kakarot and FighterZ are a breeze of fresh air for my Square-Triangle PTSD

Never was a fan of 2d either. But Dbfz is the best db game ever to be made. I’ve been playing these games since Budokai 1-2. Dbfz takes the most skill has the best movement, had the best balancing. I also think it’s sweet that every auto and move in the game is unique and is from the show. Everything you do is from the show. The competitive scene is very hype, and the international tournaments on KZbin get 4 million views and it’s the most beautiful 2D game I’ve ever seen. The only drawback for me is that the game needs to work on its online servers/ques and DLC characters costing additional is kinda lame.

@Obistopmotions Yeah, in the base game you have Piccolo, Vegeta, Gohan, Trunks, Vegito, and I think Gotenks. In Dlc you have Bardock, Tien, and Future Gohan. It being a cinematic and story driven game you need not have as many characters like the fighting games.

Honestly it was a lot of fun, I was reluctant at first because it's the DBZ story again but it's the best game to experience the story. Most fun Dragon Ball game and the first game I platinumed.

I haven't played any of these except for XV2 and I know it shouldn't be where it is. The pve is monotonous, the pvp is broken in 1000 different ways and bugs never get fixed in any reasonable amount of time. I still remember that since on release all adult trunks variations had a touch of death unvanishable combo and it took them so long to fix it.

Honestly I like breakers a lot. I got in on sale for $3 too so it's really hard to hate on it. I like it's gameplay even if the controls are just a little clunky my only wish is that the matchmaking was a bit faster

because yeah HERES MY ranking b2w 1. Dragon Ball FighterZ 2. DBZ Kakarot 3. DBXV2 4. Dragon Ball The Breakers 5. Dragon Ball Xenoverse This is from me having experience with ALL games, I have roughly 1k hours on Xenoverse 2 (my most played of the list BY FAR). The fact it’s to this day getting support with DLC is amazing and it’s a great game, but the game can feel fairly repetitive after playing for a while and the stuff with online can be..not the best. Dragon Ball FighterZ is an absolutely amazing fighting game and I’ve played my fair share of fighting games over time. Kakarot (from what I’ve played) is a great RPG and quite possibly the definitive retelling of the story. Even with the End Of Z DLC being somewhat lacklustre from what I’ve heard that doesn’t matter. Breakers is a fairly good execution of a good idea can be an enjoyable game but in comparison to the others it can’t go above. When I want to play with friends the queue time can go on for 10’s of minutes at times, and that’s when I would enjoy the game more, with friends. Me personally I enjoyed being able to be the killer while playing with friends though I understand why it’s not possible. When it comes to Xenoverse 1, it’s a good game, I enjoyed my time with it when it released big time but as it’s the first of the series it obviously falls behind in certain places in comparison to the sequel. ANYWAYS TLDR:played lots of XV2, FighterZ is goated, kakarot is a peak retelling, breakers just isn’t above the rest and XV1 is a good game but doesn’t hold up in comparison ALTHOUGH at the same time I could kinda move the top three around for my personal thoughts with the game and obviously if you’re not into 2d fighters then FighterZ isn’t for you n stuff ANYWAYS imma stop now this’ll get too much EDIT:yeah this is just..a little bit much😅

Xenoverse 2 Now Fighterz is at 3 cuz it’s 2.5d and I like fighting games that are 3d but it’s still good and Xenoverse 2 is higher than Kakarot cuz even tho kakarot had better graphics and stuff Xenoverse 2 had a better character roster moves and even tho it has its downsides, it’s still a good game overall and it gets more dlcs up to now but kakarot should’ve had a training mode like Xenoverse 2 and more dlcs cuz it only had RoF Bardock and Future Gohan saga and Xenoverse 2 has ToP Dbs broly Super hero ect.

For me. FighterZ Xeno 2 Xeno 1 Kakarot. No issues with any games, Kakarot was not worth the dlc so after I beat buu, I just watched youtube videos and honestly just enjoyed watching it more than actually playing it, Thats how much I didnt like the game. Xeno 1 Barely loses to Xeno 2 Only due to the fact that online is the same between the two, Xeno 1's story mode is 10x better, But xeno 2 simply has better controls, graphics, forms, moves just in the base game and is STILL getting updated. Xeno 2 has a decent story, But shit replay ability due to the fact that you have to do tutorial shit over and over and OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER, God bless any who have to replay the fucking story mode on PS5 / Xbox / PC and Switch (Me, I did that, It sucks but hey its how I can play with all my friends) But the combos are good and it's still my favorite game due to many complaints about the game simply not effecting me at all or barely at all. For me, Xeno 2 Online has worked for me and my friends over 70-80% of the time and online matches dont make me angry anymore, I just laugh in a party with homies about the sweats. Dragon Ball FighterZ is by far the best dragon ball game i have played, but it isnt my favorite. Due to the fact that it is PAY TO WIN with gogeta four, labcoat, blah blah and I just hate how i'm expected to buy all the dlc characters when I will never play them, I bought the ones I want to play and none else. Another thing I dont like about it is the learning curve, It took me I kid you not, 3 years and like 5 attempts (I broke my game disk twice on 2 seperate consoles until I just bought the game online) to learn how to play that game. Any small, MINUSCULE mistake ended up in a TOD or the combos besides auto combos were fucking hard for someone who has never even touched a fighting game. But even after all that hate, I finally learned the game and it's fun, Not worth buying the game 3 fuckin times though

Xeno 2 is probably the best overall but the online combat system is absolutely garbage. The hitboxes are absolutely a joke. You literally are getting hit when your opponent is punching the air. Like tf. That makes literally no sense. Your opponents drop out of supers and ultimate attacks. This makes it VERY DIFFICULT to enjoy the pvp side of things

You need to look past the 2D of Dbfz. I. Hated it too since I played all the 3D db games. But After playing the game, it’s not only the best Db game ever, but it’s one of the best games made. It’s the beautiful 2D graphics and has very good mechanics/movement. Look up a recent international tournament that has 4 million views. It’s a good game.
