I’m taking Bam over Sabonis. Neither of them are good enough to be first or second options offensively on a championship team and Sabonis is only really effective offensively if he’s the one of the main focuses of the offense. I really do think that Draymond and the warriors exposed him defensively in the playoffs last year. And since he’s in the west, the Kings will most likely be going through Jokic and/or AD and I don’t like his chances lol. I think Bam is much more of a ceiling raiser while Sabonis is more of a floor raiser.

The problem is Joel's playmaking, even if it's improving in the regular season, is not transitioning at all in the playoffs. He can improve every facet of his game if he wanted to, he has not proved yet that he can keep that improvement into the playoffs. Until he does, he's gonna be one of the biggest playoff droppers in NBA history.

After Robert Williams got knee surgery last offseason, he came back and played on limited minutes, but he played every game in the playoffs. He didnt have any injuries at the end of the season, so this year he’ll actually have an offseason where he isn’t just rehabbing. Hopefully the Celtics get him consistently next season because he is probably their best defender when he is healthy
