As football fans we love rankings and uniforms...and today I'm bringing you both! With the arrival of the UFL, we now have a BRAND new rankings list of the 8 teams featured in this new merged league. Wh will take the top spot? Do the Roughnecks reign supreme? Will a new USFL team take up spots?

OK I see this iconic Texas uniform of the roughnecks now that you explained it, …funny I even lived in Texas and I never noticed that this was the symbol for Texas on the whole uniform. Oh well, it looks great to me now… now that I understand it, it actually has some kind of meaning, which is really cool. NGL though, at first glance, it looks like a Jockey’s Helmet. Now that I know what it is, it’s completely different. I actually like it all now.

I agree..the Blue helmets for the Battlehawks were badass and beautiful..classy and distinct without looking like a cheesy arena football team uniform. I’m not saying they are bad now…I just always had a thing for blue football helmets..especially matte or metallic blue. I love Birmingham’s uniform..they remind me of a hybrid style mixture of the 49ers,Boston College and the Denver Broncos with that stallion helmet logo…..the cream,white and red is a delicious combination! I hope the Houston Roughnecks keep those unique Texas flag tri colored helmets..it’s a one of a kind helmet and could become iconic as the league gets more popular. Interestingly they could also include retro uniforms if they wanted to for certain games …like when they had those silver chrome helmets and red and blue jerseys. Michigan Panthers..what can I say! 😍 Despite me being a Bham Stallions fan..I admit I’m a bit envious of the panther’s oddly beautiful color scheme! lol I agree with your ranking! 👌🏼

With the Guardians gone for now (likely forever) I will be going back to being a Battlehawks fan. Love the color scheme and their fan base is the best. I wonder who the QB will be for them this season. Is it possible to get AJ McCarron back after the NFL season ends...we shall see

My issue with the entire Memphis rebrand is that for whatever reason they went away from the original USFL branding. The Silver, Red and White was immaculate.

If the UFL fails , they should merge with the IFL . It’s more affordable to play Arena Football. And it’s more fun to gamble on because it is higher scoring.

As a Showboats fan I love the unis not a big fan of Navy or Yellow but navy is a pretty nice to nice color, and it goes well with yellow. Whatever they have I'm happy with. #LetsGoShowboats

Take another look at the helmets, Solid Old Logo had better ears, and popped, no muted gold on gold. I Love the color Gold too and I’m a Michigan Panthers fan, and I don’t even want this helmet. No thank you! If somehow, I got one, I would sandpaper the stupid logo off the helmet, order an old logo and put it on the helmet, and paint some teeth on there and spray some acrylic paint over it. 🔥

The "random stripes" on the battlehawks jerseys are arches for the St Louis arch! The battlehawks are way to low. Renegades look like the Toronto blue jays football jersey. Brahmas look like they work at buffalo wild wings.

They did that in 2020 and the NFL sued them. Silver helmets (which the Oilers wore for a few years) with a big H that got narrow at the top like an oil derrick.

For the Record, AAF had the best helmets #8 Showboats: Bring back their vintage uniforms or colors #7 Battlehawks: I like the silver helmets but 2020 Uniforms #6 Renegades: prefer both hope they use both. The R logo does need to pop though #5 Stallions: Dont like cream. I prefer the metallic bronze of the 80s #4 Defenders: Prefer 2020 logo Both Uniforms hope they mix and match 20 & 23 #3 Panthers: should be #1 they & Generals looked better than 80s. #2 Brahamas: The reincarnated Jacksonville Bulls, I'd prefer this uniform in those colors. #1 Prefer 2020 Roughnecks: If they switched from white to silver like 2020, I'd agree. --When they merged, the Roughnecks with the Gamblers, they should've called them the Gambling- Roughnecks.. Change the navy blue to black like the Gamblers. Put the Gambler's logo on the helmet & Roughnecks H on the sleeve and switch the white to silver but keep the uniform same.. San Antonio has the absolute worst uniforms of all time. They look like a uniform that you bought at Dicks. The helmet logo looks like a design that comes right from the Continental football league of the 1960s. I agree that the 2020 version of the Battlehawks and Roughnecks were much cleaner.

Arlington at #6 is way too generous. I would honestly rank them as THE worst uniform of ANY professional sports league right now. Take your pick - the horrible font, the thin number inside the thick one, the color scheme is jarring. These eyesores almost make the Tennessee Titans look presentable! Call me a fuddy duddy, but I pine for the simple clean looks that were prevalent in the 80s and 90s. Remember back when a uniform was just something players wore on the field to distinguish each other? *The very fact that we have videos ranking uniforms* tells me all I need to know about the deranged fashion show that uniforms have become. Unveilings, alternate throwbacks, color rush.... EW! Just take a plain jersey, put a college-style block number like the Giants and call it a day.
