For those who might not know, the summons in the General of Heaven's Illusion fight can be easily taken care of if you know which Wizardry spell to use. During their talisman form, they have fire and earth element, so just use water and wood element respectively and you will dispel them instantly.

Yuan shu is so close to amazing His phase 1 moveset is great and I like some of his phase 2 forms But his fire and ice are annoying and THAT HP It's too much even for me

Demon taishi ci is the best and strongest boss in this game

11. Taishi Ci: Remove arrow spam and he’d be fun. 10. Shuyao: Nice moveset but the poison is nearly unavoidable. 9. Captive Swordsman: Basic human but fun rematch in a side mission. 8. Dan Ning: Basic human but with unique attacks. 7. Black Zhuyan: Decent rematch, but why him? 6. Xu Chu: Enjoyable human boss and character. 5. General of Heaven Illusion: Never dealt with the summons so a welcome rematch. Do wish it was more complex. 4. Mezuki: They buffed his damage, aggression, and moveset. Also, scampuss hat! 3. Dian Wei: Very cool fight. 2. Demonized Taishi Ci: Cool as hell boss with one of my favorite themes. 1. Yuan Shu: Give him a bit less health in Phase 1 and he’d be almost perfect.

All the DLC bosses were extremely OP. My cestus build was either poorly optimized, didn't properly use magic, just bad with these higher-level bosses or most likely all three previous reasons combined! 🤣 I certainly couldn't pass Yuan Shu, sub Pirate Merc and sub Taishi Ci. By not beating Yuan Shu, it locked several sub battlefields, ugh! But I was glad to pass Mezuki the Nioh 2 horse demon! 🏆

I know there are some Chinese words/names that are pretty hard to parse out if you're not fluent in Chinese but "Shuyao" isn't even kinda difficult. It's just "Shoe-Yow". Not a massive issue, I just don't like seeing people give up on something without even attempting.

It’s similar to Nioh 2 endgame and it has a depths equivalent. The replayability of this game is lacking though, because a lot of the weapons are boring and don’t feel very satisfying to use, as well as having no special combos. If you want to change the gameplay up you have to use spells and martial arts but it can get boring.

I hate to be that guy, but your description of Yuan Shu sounds more like you got bad rng. I almost never saw his fire spin. Also, he didn’t exactly like to run away. Usually I was running from him.

To be fair, in RoTtk xu shu does confuse dian wei for a bandit so the fact that they stayed true to chinese history is a plus.

I struggled with some bosses but eventually got them, like it just took a little practice. But TAISHI CI IS IMPOSSIBLE. Fuck somebody please tell me of some way to cheese this POS because I am losing my mind.

My favorite boss is either Gan Ning or Dian Wei Taishi Ci demon form is nearly perfect but the fight is way too focused on his basic combo (same thing with Malenia and Waterfowl in Elden Ring)

The enemy design is horrible in this game PERIOD human bosses shouldn’t be armored period unless doing a powerful attack. I only like two bosses in this game 1st Zhang Liao 2nd Lu Bu. The only thing keeping me on this game is the martial arts aspects Nioh series soundtrack is fantastic and wo longs doesn’t measure up to it at all.

Nioh 2 human bosses and human bosses in this game are just pure garbage. Team Ninja can't make consistent fights to save their life. I will agree Nioh 2 ost is kino tho.

@@StinkyFeetInc nioh 2 bosses deff better than wo long bosses cuz they actually fight you and arnt spamming one or two of the same moves over n over again and wo long bosses run so damn much. Its painfully obvious how limited attacks are in this game for us and enemies alike. Nioh bosses had many different attack patterns and special abilities were more diverse. You could say wo long is easier but also ugly with dark souls charge up times and clunky attacks/animations. Wo long is clearly the less quality of the two
