Brilliant video. Can I ask a couple of questions. Sometimes even when I complete these tags as per your instructions, Google does something different. For example, I have the SEO title tag set NOT to add my site name to the end, but sometimes Google does it anyway! Resulting in an error warning on my Ahrefs audits telling me that my post title and SEO title are different and that my SEO title is too long. Secondly and similarly, when I craft my own meta description, occasionally Google seems to replace it with AI generated garbage, pulling random phrases from my post - which results in irrelevant nonsense! Have you come across this and is there anything I can do about it?

Hello, thank you for your comment. It is a pretty common thing with Google these days. It happens with 70% of the results and we even have a KB dedicated to this problem and a few solutions we recommend: Please check the KB and you will understand the reasons Google does this: rankmath.com/kb/different-meta-title-and-description/ Google has made some changes to their algorithm which automatically changes the titles, discarding the one you have set in your SEO title meta tag. This happens regardless of the SEO plugin you are using. I need to use the no snippet tag on the mega menu images on my woo site. The product categories html contains all the other categories with their thumbnails. As a result, the bot picks up the wrong meta from the pages and shows it in the SERP. Or is there a better solution for this?

Doesn’t google create them for you if you don’t create it and so it follows googles guidelines and is it a ranking factor
