Which OPENING is your favorite? The ORIGINAL or the REMAKE?

The original is beautifully made.....represents the real story of the anime

I am actually thinking about watching the original and not the remake so I can't wait to see that originality! As for the Opening, the OG is just so iconic, cute, catchy & has an amazing 80s vybes that I love alot. I enjoyed also the Remake Opening but the OG is the OG. Thank you for sharing your thoughts & for leaving your thoughts :D

The remake is solid, but original is better
@jasonentertainment7122Ай бұрын
I've been hearing that from many people. I think the remake has interesting takes for newcomers of the show as well as the OG who have watched the original but the original will always be the first one and the iconic one.

Old opening has nostalgia value. I would dance to it too. But I love Anochan!!! Very interesting personality but I like her songs. I enjoy almost similar singers like Wednesday Campanella and KyaryPamyuPamyu from a decade ago. Her song here gave a really fresh take on how the series is introduced focusing on the cuteness (Reiwa era anime has gone further on this) and wackiness of the series. The Reiwa remake of Ranma really is bringing the series to this generation and Anochan doing the opening is what can make this version stand out as well. The ending song of the Reiwa reboot is so well done though! It made me cry. The show wanted to leave you with something right to the very end.

That's a very good explanation for Ano and her Ranma 1/2 version. I enjoyed both of the openings so that's why it was difficult to decide. I went back and forth haha. I agree that her songs reflects the cutness and wackiness of the show. For someone who knew nothing about Ranma 1/2, I could immediately know what was the genre of this show thanks to the opening alone. I am still debating if I should watch the 1989 version or the Reiwa Remake because I feel like both of them have something to bring. As for the ending, I haven't listen and watch both endings yet. I will either make a video about it or just listen to them when I watch the first episode of Ranma 1/2 either the remake or the OG. Thank you so much for sharing your love for both openings and for explaning how the remake is made for a mix of generations and specially this new one as well as new audience members. Thank you watching the video, you are awesome :D

Thanks as well for the response! You would definitely enjoy the 1989 version. Each episode will make you laugh. You could appreciate as well the various details of the story and character development in this version. The art for the characters resembles the manga a lot more. What would make it different from the Reiwa version is that it feels more like a family show though it has a lot of nudity lolz. Cartoons are treated differently in each decade/era. We've only been 3 episodes so far in the Reiwa version. I enjoy it and there are elements of the production that make it distinct as a Reiwa era anime - more detailed, more vibrant and colorful and there's a bit more experimenting now that technology can execute and express many parts of anime in more ways than before. Certain social issues may affect the presentation of this version as well. The music reflects the tastes of the younger generation. I was very thrilled as well to learn that the original voice actors reprised their roles in this series and they are almost in their 60s including Hayashibara Megumi (57) who I remember in Evangelion (Rei), Detective Conan (Ai), Cowboy Bebop (Faye), etc. What I'm hoping for in this version which the 1989 version wasn't able to accomplish is to actually be faithful to the progression of the original manga and not jump around chapters every episode. The 1989 version did that in later seasons. I may understand those who are not fans of the Reiwa version. But I appreciate the Reiwa version for what it brings to this generation of anime watchers particularly here in Japan where students now have the chance to watch midnight anime on streaming services like Netflix and Prime.

@@torjip First of all, shoutout to your country. I didn't know you are and live in Japan. I really hope I can visit your country next year. It would be a dream come true seriously. With that said, I really love how you explain with care, arguments and emotion the Reiwa Version. I always say that some animes deserve to have a remake because sometimes they are visually outdated. I would even say sometimes they are also outdated of their era and the subject they talk is either not appropriate or not subject of discussion anymore and it's good to have a remake of that. Just by comparing the trailers, I saw how visually the Reiwa has improved compared to the 1989 version. I also believe that a remake is always a good thing because you want great gems to be known by a larger public and that includes a new generation of younger anime fans. The downside were people are always skeptical is capturing the essence or the vybes of the original product like the 80s vybes in this case (talking about what people are saying, not about my personal opinion). Honestly, I think I will watch the 1989 version and also watch the Reiwa Version so I can see the differences but specially to appreciate both versions because I know they will bring something special for anime fans and I can't wait to dive in this new anime from the great Rumiko Takahashi. You really convinced me to check both and I thank you for that! Arigato my friend ! 😁
