The blanked off button is for the optional ejector seat, but they left that off because knowing your curious nature Jim, you'd have been the first Shroppie in orbit. Great bit of video work mate.

Have a Parkway 3 Meteor, middle unit is leaving bouncing finish. Tried everything to fix it, even increasing weight to units. Still the same, any ideas?
@JimmyTheMower Жыл бұрын
It's usually because the pivot bar is bent and needs re bushing. The lift arm will also need re bushing too.

Hi Jimmy I bought Ransome N reg Few years back and have kubota engine I transport it to Montenegro All works ok only front right making noise on and stop when depoyed to cut the gruss Do you have any idea what could be Barings or… Tx
@JimmyTheMowerАй бұрын
I think it can only be the bearings. They are cheap to buy but can be a pain to change. Make sure you buy a new oil seal and replace that at the same time and it will keep your bearings dust and dirt free for years.

Used the grandad of this machine back around 1988-1992 similar cylinder set up but without all the modern gadgets. I drove it all over the place for miles, [no transporting.] A great cutting machine but prone to punctures.

Hello! Out of interest would you consider a rotary mower such as the HR300 or a cylinder much like the one you have yourself? Both types have their pros and cons. Just interested in your opinion. As always good video. Keep it up!
@JimmyTheMower4 жыл бұрын
Hi, rotary mowers especially the HR300 are fantastic machines for cutting grass and covering large areas quickly . However, I mainly cut sports fields and public play areas so short striped grass is very important to my clients. I love the superior finish I get with the cylinder mowers and so do they. Thank you very much for watching my videos and your continued support. Jimmy 👍

We have a pair of MP653(14ft rotary) at work, both less than 12 months old and they have shown to be truly dreadful machines to work with, very uncomfortable for long periods of use and they have also had their fair share of breakdowns as well as various parts of the interior trim falling off or breaking. The build quality seems generally very poor for a £70,000 machine....Now just as the weather gets particularly hot the air conditioning has decided to stop working, not what you want when you are essentially sitting in a green house with a red hot Kubota lump 8 inches behind you!!!
@ondrej7374 жыл бұрын
@@plutonia00 oof! Sorry to hear. How long will you plan on keeping that machine? How much downtime does it have?
@plutonia004 жыл бұрын
@@ondrej737 The machines are currently on finance I think for 3 years, without giving away too much info I'm a groundsman at a world famous sporting site and they get a relatively easy life of cutting the surface at 4 inch twice per week during the season. The quality control from new has been shocking, a new one to add to the list from yesterday is the retractable sunshade has decided to unscrew itself and shoot off the plastic headlining for the second time!

How often would u need to cut if ya wanted little grass lying on pitch,
@JimmyTheMower2 жыл бұрын
At least once per week. I usually cut football pitches on a Wednesday and line them out on a Friday.
