Hi Guys! My name is Heejin, a Korean Singaporean living in Singapore!
Today, Bus Service 20 will be the feature of Episode 16 of the Great Grundorf 2 (Modded Map) series! In my version, Bus Service 20 is operated by SMRT buses to and fro Grundorf Expo Bus Terminal via Bauernhof MRT. However, we drive directly to the Airport Bus Terminus as we have to rescue a broken down bus! Halfway in the video, I'll be addressing my thoughts about Tower Transit in Mandai! Besides that, I drive TIB1244P, a Mercedes-Benz O405G (Hispano Habit) running on Service 20!

Rant below ↓↓ As a Tower Transit commuter, some feeders are quite slow and some frequencies are just screwed. Also, the fleet is quite barebones with mainly B9TLs and Citaros (no typical commuters care so I won't elaborate on this) Evidence 1: 66's frequency. It's horrendous, 15-20min per bus (single decker!) during peak hours even before COVID was a thing. Usually the buses would not be that packed once it arrives around Bukit Batok West, where I'd board but waiting that long during peak hours is just unacceptable. Some may argue "oh but 66 is a very long route" and others say "oh but covid means less ridership", and both points are correct, but it doesn't give TTS a reason to have 15min per bus before, during or after COVID. Evidence 2: Feeder frequency & speed. The feeders I'm going to focus here are the Jurong East ones since that's what I usually take. 333 and 335 have relatively bad frequencies, around 10-15min per bus and 6-10min per bus during off-peak and peak hours respectively. The thing is that these 2 feeders are being sort of "neglected". 333 has demand from IMM to Jurong East Ave 1 and 335 has demand from Jurong East/Chinese Gdn Stn to Jurong West St 52. 334 is a whole other story because it's constantly relatively full and luckily TTS has a decent frequency of ard 5-8min per bus for that. Speeds of feeders also do vary depending on the driver, some 335s do go around 30kmh along Jurong Town Hall Rd, which is just slow and some 198s and 178s do overtake at times. The point I'm making here is that with proper planning and no screwed up frequencies, TTS is definitely able to succeed in Mandai. TTS has already started training/testing runtimes for some Sembawang services which is a nice thing to see. I do hope that TTS would not make the same mistakes as they did before and give SBW and YIS residents a good sevrice.

it will be terrible once its released. as a mandai resident. i have ridden the UK bus operator in marina. It sucks so hard. SMRT and SBST is very smooth on the routes. Now we have crap incoming.
