I thought it was a brave attempt by a team of Man U's standard against a strong Gala side with players like Zaha and Icardi. Based upon the form and pedigree of the 2 sides the result is as expected, although i thought Gala were a bit sloppy in defense. It is not unrealistic for Man U to get to the knockout phase of the Europa league if they try really, really hard! 😀

I can't see how this can be fixed this season to be honest. People want player x y and z out, but are the alternatives any better? we know Maguire and Evans won't be. Ten Hag and his staff see the players on the training grounds each and every day. I don't believe a manager deliberately plays the weaker players unless he wants to rotate. Eriksen and Casemiro together are too slow to play together. Rashford and Bruno are inconsistant, but the alternatives are consistantly shit or turn up even less than them like Antony and Pellistri. Apart from the Glazers the short term problem is just that the squad is just not that good while there's enough players that can make errors that can cost you points or the game even. At this point I think we are just deluding ourselves if we think talents like Mejbri Garnacho and Hojlund can carry the team instead. I rather adjust my expectations this season instead of having my heart broken once or twice a week.

As an outsider it is time to let ETH to go. The buck stops with him. From minute 1 United went forward and the likes of Bruno, Casemiro, Hannibal, none of them are tracking back.
