I experienced the same comfort fit discomfort upon wearing my SINN U1, I purchased from Steinhart an SS mesh bracelet (22mm width) Rachet adjusting- while you wear, clasp, (no flip diver extension). This was in 2017, and has been a daily wearer and great looker today. The mesh is thick not skimpy, and does not show scratches, keeping a fresh appearance.😎👍

Sinn does have an updated clasp for their rubber straps with a new length adjustment since 2019/2020. Overall cleaner look and a little shorter, but not with the diver extension anymore.

I’ve owned the new clasp but still was left a bit underwhelmed considering the engineering Sinn is resting its laurels on.

150% agree. My U1 Professional suffers from the same problem. I love the integrated rubber strap/clasp, but...summertime swelling.

I had a Breitling Blackbird that had this rubber strap / clasp on it and it was fantastic!! I'd love to order one of these 22/20 tapered bracelets for my Sinn U1B ... but from Breitling it would cost ~ $900 for the black clasp. Ugh!!

the u212 watch head is so heavy, it *DEMANDS* an on-the-fly microadjustable clasp.

I think Sinn needed to figure out the micro adjust clasp years ago for all their watches. They just launched a new clasp with the abilities and it just doesn’t work for me… thanks for watching 👍🏼

I'm having exactly the same problem. That's why I bought the small butterfly clasp which has two microadjustment positions. It is super uncomfortable. So I'm thinking of buying this clasp from Breitling, but I wonder if the strap from Sinn will fit (20 mm). I'm worried about the thickness. Do you think that the Sinn strap fits the Breitling clasp? I mean, I could shave the strap a little bit if it's too thick. But really don't want to change for other strap because I like that is integrated with lugs. Thanks

You’ll have to do a bit of research on it - I bought the clasp used so didn’t take a bath on it. The breitling clasp & Sinn strap is awesome combo.

Also be aware current SDR options from Sinn don’t have tegimented heads as well only bezels.

What is with watch people pretending there is some sort of competition for silly little things on watches? It’s bit douchey. If any watch maker fixed what all the weirdos complain about, those same weirdos would then whine about it costing too much. I swear.

I agree to disagree, we are talking about a watch/band with zero adjustment, after initial fitting ( which consists of cutting the rubber straps to size), if too tight your wrists will swell, the rubber is smooth and allows no airflow under the band, hence extreme discomfort.🖖
