Riverdale is a _mess_ It's weird because the writer has done a pretty decent job with Chilling Adventures of Sabrina. He writes a trashy teen drama for the CW on purpose.

In my opinion, Far From Home was better than Homecoming. The cinematography and lighting design worked much better, and I was thrilled that Zendaya really got to shine in the role of MJ. I just felt like the characters were more developed in the movie, not to mention the special effects were phenomenal. It was very well done. Sorry, I just really love this movie. A lot.

For SpiderMan I feel like the pacing was a bit fast for my taste. But I also feel like that was necessary and planned. It shows how hectic things are for Peter and it’s why you feel for him. Like... everything is changing so quickly and he’s still grieving and he’s still just a kid and wants to be a kid. But no, the world is moving and villains are rising and he’s being forced to step up and it’s so fast. It works for this movie. Idk maybe that’s just me! Also: Love all your stuff Christine!! Gonna check out The Unhoneymooners and I promise not to read the synopsis!

Sooo I FINALLY read ABB, and... I ABSOLUTELY FLIPPIN LOVED IT! God, It was soo good, with the jokes, Harry Potter references, and Shane said “what even” like you do Christine!! And it felt so “real” like, here was a main character’s story that was so relatable, like you were watching a tv show or something and AAB is my now favorite book!!! I told my bff about it, and now she’s going to read it! ABB deserves all the hype it’s getting and more, This book was sooo good and it was everything I never knew I wanted in a YA contemporary story!! The Beatles are one of my favorite bands, and I love the representation! Same with Blink- 182! I love Adam’s song, and My favorite song by The Beatles, is probably Don’t let me down, or Drive my car, or Elenor Rigby. I loved Shane and Pilots story and the joke about his name, I would’ve said “ you’re name is Pilot.... like Twenty One Pilots?” Hahaha this book made my life. I was going through a reading slump which stinks, and then Cameron Boyce passed 😭, so I didn’t feel like reading, but I did!! And ABB got me out of my slump, and I’m so proud that one of my favorite funny booktubers wrote it. Love you Christine!!🥳🥳💛💛 “Xoxo 2018”😂😂😂

In Spider-Man, the villains motive was very rushed and the reveal was very cheesy. He was like MUAHAHAHA THIS WHY IM DOING THIS AND I HATE HIM AND MUAHAHAHA. I was very disappointed with Far From Home tbh. I only ~ liked ~ it because of the character dialogue and the end credit scenes
@edensylvester135 жыл бұрын
Idk that part was actually pretty scary and I think it was a well-done villain twist that I literally haven't seen since before Frozen. It felt like after Frozen had an abrupt villain twist that made no sense (like we saw Hans alone and he acted perfectly good until after Anna found out about him), every other movie also decided to have zero foreshadowing which just made the villain twists unbelievable. But this time they brought back the dramatic irony of us knowing before the characters which makes it a lot more intense. It definitely could've been better but it wasn't really bad imo
@Awezomezauce5 жыл бұрын
Hplekk18 yeah I completely agree with you. I was really looking forward to ffh but I ended up being pretty disappointed. I liked all the character stuff that happened and I thought it was funny, but imo Mysterio was a pretty lame villain. He never scared me and I never believed he could really beat Spider-Man, not even for like a second lol. Also all the drone stuff just wasn’t really explained that well idk it was kinda stupid. I did like the end credit scene tho

I didn’t know Rocketman was gonna be a straight up musical. So since I went in expecting a Bohemian Rhapsody style movie, I was a little let down since musicals aren’t really my thing. Godzilla was fucking awful. I mean absolutely awful. I saw so many tweets justifying that the movie didn’t need to be good because people only watch it to see the monsters. And while I completely agree that there are movies that do the whole “not a good movie but I still loved it” well (like The Meg), Godzilla wasn’t one of them! So many scenes didn’t make logical sense, like Godzilla standing in the ocean on nothing and then swimming away. 🤣🤣 The movie didn’t do Vera Farmiga and Millie Bobby Brown any favors, like the ballpark scene and the Vera driving away scene 😂 The only good part to the movie was indeed the monsters.
