Rooney wanted to leave when Fergie was still there, Rashford came years later. Rooney wanted to leave because he felt long term the club was going downwards and Fergie was getting older (close to retiring)

Rooney’s levels & commitment on the pitch never dropped no matter how many time he asked to leave Utd. Rashford’s actions show of a spoilt child given all the privileges others probably deserved more because he’s English, Academy graduate and Manchester born but didn’t return the clubs efforts with consist performances.

Rants does make some valid points but he needs to keep in mind that Sancho virtually called his coach a liar, whereas Rashford did not make any direct accusations or insults in his interviews with Henry Winter. We also need to appreciate that by the time Rashford made that interview Amorim would gave already told him behind the scenes that he was not a part of his future plans so therefore his interview was justified ... there was nothing left to fight for

Sancho was wrong Rants you have your view though. Why did Sancho have to spend all the time away in Netherlands for reasons we dont know? It has to be the Managers way. Sancho is talented but reaching his true potential is a challenge for him even at Chelsea he is not consistent as it is been made to look. You can play for Dortmund, Villa and even Chelsea but the pressure is different when you play for Manchester United it is not for people who have weak mentality and psychology needing to spend time off when there is no injury and this attitude is contagious what were his stats under Ole?. The pressure at united is real and consistency is key. not being average is important. You can afford to blow hot and cold else where but not at united. The attention and expectations are high. Agreed Antony was not any better but the choice of selection reside the Manager. He knows his tactics and what he feels will work, he will be held accountable whether it works or not. But the Manager must be allowed to Manage his team how he wants or sack him. ETH had his challenges with the media, player power amongst others but he bore the consequences, he got the sack. I am a United fan firstnot a Sancho, Amorim, Rashford or ETH fan. In the next 10 years they won't be at united but i will be here supporting them i want the legacy to continue and win trophies. Not Rashford, Sancho, Shaw and Co.
