From 'Boy' to 'Songs of Experience' we can always count on The Edge to deliver something incredible! We all love an epic guitar solo especially when it goes on for several minutes but saying that, I'm glad that Edge doesn't go over the top with his own solos. He truly is a master when it comes to effects, his unique sound can be recognised all over the world. If you have seen and heard U2 live especially in a stadium then you'll understand and hopefully agree that Edge is a one man orchestra, his work on a U2 studio album is crazy awesome but their music really comes to life in the most EPIC way when playing live. From the album 'Boy' we knew straight away that Edge was going to be legendary!

I've been a U2 fan, since early 80's. I just recently began listening and watching guitar solos, hoping to begin to play. This is one of the best solos I've seen. Hope you are doing well and continue the great performances.

I think it was a Tube Drive. Most of U2 songs uses a Tube Drive, or Fuzz or RAT aka Classic Distortion... for this one its a Tube Drive.... and of course the Wah at the beggining of the chain fx
